What are the Widths of the Equalizers that Come with the Dexter EZ Flex Kit part # K71-656-00
Published 05/20/2025 >
Question:
The description, the images, and the answers do not jive. Can someone please take both the long and the short equalizers and actually measure shackle bolt hole to shackle bolt hole? I suspect the long one is 6 3/4inch as stated and the short one is 5 3/4inch +/-, not 6 3/4 as stated. This is for the 6000 triple axle kit. Thank you

Hey Trailer Dude, if you check out the attached review video on this page down below you can see at the 3:20 mark our installer Jeff measures the equalizers that come with the part # K71-656-00 so you can see the exact dimensions. One of them is 5-3/4 inches and the other is 6-3/4 inches like you noted. The picture in the descriptions is wrong.

Thank you. Please correct the description and images. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out if these would work, if I'd have to change spring length, or etc. Turns out they are a perfect match...but still. Dude....
