We have a hitch for your 2023 Lexus RX 350h with the Curt part # C29VV but the Draw Tite you mentioned does not work. The Curt would still allow the rear kick sensor to open the rear tailgate but you would have to kick to either side of the hitch. view full answer...
The Draw-Tite item # DT73QR installs below the bumper. This hitch is perpetually backordered due to Draw-Tite being bought out so I have a way better option for a hitch for your 2023 Lexus RX 350. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C29VV. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Lexus with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver visible. This not only looks better it also helps with ground clearance.... view full answer...
Hello Tom,
Congrats on the new Lexus RX 350. Not a whole lot of cars grab my attention on the road, but the new grille on the RX 350 gets me every time!
Our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e29ZV is listed as a 4 out of 10 for difficulty. No drilling is required, you will however need to lower the exhaust to install.
I do not have an install video on our etrailer hitch, but it is identical to the Curt # C29VV (the only difference is... view full answer...
I can tell you John, I had the same concern when I installed a receiver on my Acura RDX. While my receiver did not entirely prevent the use of the kick sensor for the hands free liftgate it did limit the area I was able to kick due to the receiver. You will have the same issue on your 2024 Lexus RX 500h. Once you install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV you simply need to test different areas around the receiver to figure out which area works best for the kick sensor.
I do recommend... view full answer...
Hey Bryan, Dometic has the CT Thermostat and Control Board part # DMC83ZR as a fit for all single zone Dometic units so yes it would work well on your Duo Therm. view full answer...
Hey Le, thanks for reaching out!
The etrailer # e67MV and Curt # C26VV hitches that fit your 2025 Lexus TX 500h Sport will likely get in the way of the kick sensor. You won't need to disable it, but you might need to kick with a back-and-forth motion instead of a swiping motion in order to get them to pick up the movement of your foot.
We've gotten mixed reviews on whether or not the kick sensor will actually still work with a hitch installed, but you at least know you won't need to disable... view full answer...
I have taken a look at the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75540. This hitch is confirmed to fit your 2022 Lexus RX 350 and it does require some minor trimming of the lower portion of the rear trim. I have linked a couple of pictures and one with included dimensions of the required cut. The receiver is only 2" x 2" so you won't have to make a 3" cut like the instructions say. It's alright if you make a smaller cut that is just enough for the receiver to not rub on the trim. view full answer...
The Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack # S64665 and Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Rack # HR4000 are two of the best values in regards to 4-bike racks, and when taking everything into consideration I highly recommend the Destination # HR4000.
There are a number of reasons for this, starting with the fact that the Destination is going to be easier to load your bikes on because of its large and curved wheel trays compared to the hoops of the XTC-4 that make you plop the bikes in just right. The... view full answer...
For the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56217 on your 2021 Lexus RX 350L the connectors will be located in a different spot. The 10 pin connector should be located on the passenger side just below the taillight.
The 4 pin connector will be underneath the drivers side bumper cover. It may require you to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 56083 to make that connection. The video that I linked below will help you find the 4-pin connector. view full answer...
Yes! The etrailer hitch # e29ZV does fit your 2025 Lexus RX 350. What I have seen with kick sensors on vehicles, is that some work and some do not after the hitch is installed. Since the receiver sits right in the center where the kick sensor is you sometimes just have to move your fit to the left or the right of the receiver and it will work. In some cases it has blocked it and not allowed the sensor to work. It depends vehicle to vehicle, but we have not had a chance to try it on that... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C29VV will definitely fit your 2024 Lexus RX 500h and you'll still have the kick sensor functionality. Just know that you'll have to kick to either side of the receiver instead of "swiping" your foot under the bumper for the sensors to pick up your foot movement. view full answer...
It sounds like you have the older Thule Vertex or Apex swing bike rack that had the cradles spaced closer together. The Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT is an upgraded version that has an increased spacing of 7" for the cradles. While this does help to make loading bikes easier, if you're trying to load up 4 adult bikes you will still have a bit of a time loading them up.
I recommend using a platform bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Destination # HR4000 which can hold 35 lb bikes and then... view full answer...
Hey Scott, the only difference between the etrailer # e29ZV and the Curt # C29VV is the powder coat finish like you noticed. The Curt has a gloss finish and the etrailer a matte finish. Aside from that there's no difference in design or materials used. The matte is a little more hidden than the gloss so that would be what I would recommend. Plus it doesn't hurt the price is better.
For trailer wiring we only have universal kits like the Curt # C59236 which will work great but do require... view full answer...
In order to mount the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # HM11143910 on a 2017 Lexus LX 570 you'll need the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U. If you can' find anywhere to mount this bracket you can purchase the Curt No-Drill Bracket part # C57202 and secure it to the hitch. It may be necessary to bend the bracket as needed. view full answer...
You should have a simple bolt on installation for the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75540 on your 2020 RX 350 F Sport. Yes, the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64671 is a great economical rack to use on your 2021 Lexus RX 350 with a 2-inch hitch receiver. As far as installing and removing your hitch to your vehicle, all it requires is for you to slide the shank of the rack into the hitch receiver and place the hitch pin into the pinhole of the receiver. Since the Swagman XTC2 only weighs 30 pounds, it is easily manageable to lift. As far as traveling at high... view full answer...
The trailer hitch receiver we have for your 2014 Lexus GX 460 that sits closest to the bumper is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13043. I have attached a photo of each hitch on a similar Lexus to give you a better idea of how far it will stick out.
If you also need a bike rack, I would be happy to recommend one for you if you can tell me a little bit about the bikes you will be carrying. If not I have attached a selection of bike racks we carry for you. view full answer...
No, it does not. The Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT73QR does not require you to drop the exhaust when installing it on your 2023 Lexus RX 350. I have linked the instructions below so you can take a look at them. view full answer...
The hands free liftgate compatibility is one of the most popular questions we get asked about trailer hitches. Unfortunately, no matter which hitch you go with like the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C88VV which is a great option, there is going to be some interference as the cross tube mounts right where the sensor points. That said, it doesn't mean the sensors won't work at all, it just means they are going to be a bit more finicky and harder to pickup. There really isn't a way around this though... view full answer...
Hello Kenneth,
Looks like you were on the right track with the wiring. The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143910 is going to get a 7 way, and 4 flat on the back of the 2011 Lexus LX 570. After reading the reviews, it looks like there are connectors on both the passenger and driver side of your vehicle. You will need to connect to the the ones on the driver side. One of our awesome customers was kind enough to share a picture of these connectors, so I went ahead and... view full answer...
