Question:

The e hitch vs Kurt, beside matte finish, what is the durability / steel construction between the two? Internal rusting is prevented how? Lexus rx 350 premiun plus. 2024 and 2025 will use the same hitch, Matte finish The no cut factory harness light kit also same part ? Thanks

Hey Scott, the only difference between the etrailer # e29ZV and the Curt # C29VV is the powder coat finish like you noticed. The Curt has a gloss finish and the etrailer a matte finish. Aside from that there's no difference in design or materials used. The matte is a little more hidden than the gloss so that would be what I would recommend. Plus it doesn't hurt the price is better.

For trailer wiring we only have universal kits like the Curt # C59236 which will work great but do require splicing into the vehicle wiring.

Using the hitch with the rear hatch kick sensor I see mixed reviews . Is the sensor still working after a hitch instalation just need to "search" a bit more with your foot ? The wiring kit you metion is the only.one available in stock , another you have out of stock will allow plug and.play.

@Scott Yes the sensor will still work but like you said you will need to search a bit more with your foot. Typically you just need to kick to either side of the hitch opening. That makes sense about the trailer wiring. When we can't get something for a longer period of time we will take it out of fitguides so that people don't order it and get frustrated with the delay.
