What is different between the 1012 and 1016 hitches? I have a 1016 but need to install it in a 2015 sierra 2500. Is there some different brackets i can buy to make it work?

Hey Shaun,
The brackets that attach the center section # BWGNRC912 of the hitch to the frame of the vehicle are just different between the two models. You can reuse the center section and just swap the brackets over to the # BWGNRM1012 to mount the hitch in your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500.
If you don't already have an in-bed 7-way then I recommend picking up the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932 as well to make connecting to your trailer easier.
