Specs:
This adjustable ball mount has a maximum capacity of 22,000 lbs, making it ideal for heavy-duty towing. The solid steel construction is strong enough to handle large trailers and heavy cargo, and the matte powder coat finish will protect the ball mount from rust and corrosion, even after repeated use. The BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount gives you the strength you need to tow your big loads. And its durable, long-lasting construction can stand the test of time.
Because of its sturdy steel construction, this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount can handle loads up to 22,000 lbs, making it perfect for heavy-duty towing jobs.
The adjustable channel is made of 5/16" thick, laser-cut steel plates. These steel plates can handle high capacities without bending. And because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently sized pin holes, so you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.
A 1/2" thick steel gusset is welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount and keeping the channel from bending, even at the maximum drop or rise.
The solid steel shank is CNC -chamfered, making it easy to slide the shank into and out of your hitch receiver. And with no sharp edges on the shank, the powder coating is less likely to chip and peel.
Each adjustable mount includes a 2-ball platform, which fits in the adjustable channel. The 2 hitch balls are welded onto the solid steel platform for maximum strength and stability.
Finally, the pins and clips included with the ball mount are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load. The nickel undercoat with zinc topcoat provides corrosion resistance and ensures the strength of the pin.
To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 3" x 3" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pins and clips to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pins and clips, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pins and clips to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.
Because of this mount's significant drop, it's recommended that you install a stabilizer kit (358stabilizerbars - sold separately) to prevent any wobbling and to remove strain from your hitch receiver.
This BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount is compatible with a wide variety of accessories (sold separately). Instead of using the included ball to tow, you can install a weight distribution shank (358WEIGHTDIST) in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. Add a clevis (358CLEVIS) or shackle attachment (358EDSA) for off-road or recovery operations. Or simply add a hitch step (358STEP) to easily access your truck bed.

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at our Bulletproof Hitches Heavy Duty Adjustable 2 Ball Mount with a 22,000 pound weight capacity right here at etrailer. You'll make sure that you get the right ball mount for your needs. So this will fit a 3 inch hitch receiver. It's a heavy duty ball mount so you get two different ball sizes for different couplers and a different weight capacity as well. So for the two and five 16th inch ball that's gonna be your 22,000 pound. If you need to use your two inch ball that's gonna have a 12,000 pound capacity.
The ball platform as well as the ball mount are coded with this lap powder coat finish. I really like it because then it holds up to the elements just like how the pins are coded with e zinc top coat. So if you've ever used a ball mount you know that sometimes the not made the right stuff they then just rust to your ball mount and you can't use it. This one is corrosion resistant. That way you can take advantage of how easy it is to make those adjustments.
This has five adjustment positions. So if you take the clips out and then you take the pins out just like that you can then move the entire ball mount platform up and down as necessary and then you just secure it with those pins. I do like how they have that handle on the end making it a lot easier. So while those two pins are included what is not included is the hitch pin. So you're gonna need a sold separately a five eighth inch pin and make sure that it matches or it fits in your three inch hitch receiver.
We have some options here. Etrailer, maybe take a look at the infinite rule locking hitchpin set, and that one has a lock at the end that can secure your shank. So this is a heavy duty ball mount, but it's also heavy since it is made of solid steel. So when you do need to make that switch around from drop to rise, keep in mind the weight. What I do is I actually take off the ball platform just to make it a little bit lighter.
There are two hitchpin holes here and they are two inches apart, just to give you a little bit of an option in case it fits a little too close to your vehicle and just line that up and pop the hitchpin through. So here we have it in the rise position. So this does give about eight inches of horizon or drop. Let's need more specific. We measure from the top inside edge of your hitch receiver right there. So the maximum rise is gonna be eight and a quarter inches. The maximum drop is gonna be nine and a quarter inches. Now this is gonna add some Length to the back of your vehicle. So I measured from the center of the hitchpin hole to the end of the ball mount that's gonna be about 15 inches about 13 inches, depending on if you use the other hole. You can also take off that ball platform if you need a little bit of extra space. There is this reinforcement fin at the end that makes sure that you still have all that strength all throughout the ball mount but it can come close to your vehicles. The center hitchpin hole to where that fin is that's five inches or three inches. Now I wanna make sure that you get the best ball mount for you, and there's a bunch of different options to make that happen [email protected]. So comparing this with some other ball mounts you might see the closest one would be the cur adjustable ball mount. That one also has two hitch balls has different drops and rises. The main difference is the cur ball mount has a zinc coated ball mount while this one has a black powder coat finish. Another main difference is the Bulletproof hitches has the option to get the extreme duty which has up to 36,000 pounds in capacity. So if you need more capacity definitely stick with the Bulletproof hitches. Otherwise, bulletproof hitches versus the cur one they have similar capacities for the 20,000 range. So check out our product pages and our pictures. You can take a look at all those specs and measurements and then decide on what's the best fit for you. But right here, right now, this was a look at the Bulletproof Hitches two ball adjustable ball mount with a 22,000 max capacity right here at E Trailer..
