Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Optronic six-inch red LED surface mount trailer clearance and side marker light. Now a cracked or a faded red marker light is an easy way to get pulled over or fail inspection. This LED replacement will mount in place of your old candescent units, and it'll keep the rear side of your trailer clearly marked. It is a surface mount design.

It is designed for a six-inch by 2 1/4-inch footprint. Now the hardware to install it, there's two holes right here that is not included. You would have to supply that. And it does give you a red LED light, which will handle rear or side marker and clearance duties. And I do wanna show you what that light looks like.

I have it hooked up to some power. So we'll go ahead and turn off our overhead lights. We'll go ahead and turn on our power, and you'll see there's your LEDs. And again, 12 of 'em right here and then two on each end, gives you a total of 16. Very bright light.

Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power. Now the housing, it is a sealed polycarbonate housing, which will protect the LEDs. It is hardwired. You can see there's two wire leads here.

The black is for power. The white is for ground.
