This GloLight Uni-Lite puts out a clean, bright red glow that stands out clearly on the road. With two white LEDs shining through a red lens, it gives you strong visibility while drawing only 0.052 amps at 12.8 volts. The solid-state LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs and don’t have filaments to break, so you get reliable lighting without the hassle of bulb changes or wasted power.
Water and electrical parts don’t mix, but this light is built to take it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, keeping moisture out even when submerged. The internal circuit board is protected so the diodes and wiring won’t corrode or short out. Whether you’re on wet roads or dipping into the water, this sealed design keeps your light working like new.
Fitting into small spaces is easy thanks to the recessed-mount design. The light measures 3/4" in diameter by 15/16" deep and installs into a 3/4" hole using the included black PVC grommet. That setup keeps it tucked in neatly without sticking out where it can snag or get knocked loose. The simple 2-wire pigtail—one power lead and one ground—makes wiring quick and straightforward.

Seeing—and being seen—from more than one direction is key for safety. This PC-rated light projects a 90-degree beam to each side of its centerline for a full 180-degree spread. When properly mounted, it works as both a clearance light and side marker, giving you consistent visibility from the front or side so others can easily spot your trailer in low-light conditions.

Instead of harsh points of light, the GloLight lens creates one smooth, bright circle that looks clean and uniform when lit. It adds a modern style while maintaining DOT compliance and dependable performance—a small detail that makes your trailer lighting look sharp and professional every time you switch it on.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics glow light LED red clearance and side marker light. This small round trailer light can function as both a clearance light and side marker light when properly mounted. It's got a nice sealed, water-proof housing that's submersible. It is an LED system. LED's are going to make great replacements for incandescent lights. They're going to last longer, burn brighter and they're much more efficient.
You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments. We're looking at a red poly-carbonate lens. It's designed to be a recessed mount. It does include the black PVC grommet that you see here. When mounting this it is going to require a three quarter inch diameter hole at the desired mounting location. We're looking at a two wire design, white wire is for ground, black wire is for power.
The unit is department of transportation compliant. This is a PC rated light. It's going to measure three quarters of an inch in diameter, it's going t to contain two diodes, two LEDs. The power drawl is going to be 0.052 amps at 12.8 volts and Optronics is going to put a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. Let's go ahead and hook it up to an external power supply so you can see what it look likes in a low light setting and with power running to it.
You can see here that the light puts out a nice consistent signal. Plenty of light out put. Again, this light is designed to function as your clearance and side marker light. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics glow light, red clearance and side marker light.

Super fast shipping. Haven’t installed yet.
I haven't yet been able to use these lights in my application (due to weather) but in testing them, they are nice and bright and the light is evenly distributed through the entire lightface.
Exact replacement part for 2016 Skeeter bay boat trailer (EZ Loader)
Have had to replace many failed led of my original order 4 replacements arrived and all 4 are missing grommets
I have been building trailers for a while now. When I found etrailer they cut my cost way down. I really haven’t shopped elsewhere sense!
Perfect!
I installed these on my golf cart as dash under glow lights.
They were inexpensive & seem like they will hold up well.
It really is a simple as drilling a 3/4” hole then pushing in the grommets then lights.
One wire to the light switch & one to a ground, super easy.
Bright! I can see the trailer tail from the side mirrors of a 89 Jeep & they survive a brush with trees far better than incandescent, lens lights.
Surprisingly bright for the size, which is nice. I was worried because in the product photos it almost appears white when lit. In person it appears slightly white when lit if you are within a few feet, but after you get back 5-10 feet it just looks red, which was a relief. These will be auxiliary brake lights on vintage motorcycle saddlebags and I think they'll work great; too small for a primary brake light but will be nice for redundancy. Haven't installed them yet so we'll see how the mounting gasket works out; may have to use a dab of silicone to make sure it doesn't come loose but we'll see.
So far it’s working
