MCL32 Series Dimensions

P2-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for P2 rated light

A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

  • What Reflector and Clearance Lights do I Need for My 6 x 12 Dump Trailer?
Hello Kurt, I can definitely help you out with the right clearance and side markers for your 6 x 12 dump trailer. I attached an image to reference for the lights/reflectors, these are the DOT requirements: - Rear reflector (#4 on diagram) 2 of the # PE72ER - Rear-side marker light/reflector (#6a/6b) 2 of the # MCL32RB - Front Side marker light/reflector (#7a/7b) 2 of the # MCL32AB You will want to use at least 16 gauge wire and some butt connectors like # DW05744-10. Don't forget...

  • Installing LED Clearance Lights With 2 Wires
Two-wire LED clearance lights such as the Red # MCL32RB or the Amber # MCL44AB have one wire for the power lead and one ground wire. The wire that was attached to your old clearance lights will be spliced to the power wire of your new lights. The black is power and white is ground for these lights. If you take a look at the video I have linked you can see how these lights are installed. I have also attached a couple of links to help articles on trailer wiring which you should find useful.

  • Recommended Red LED Clearance Light Replacement for a Trailer
For whatever reason the red version of the Bargman LED Clearance or Side Marker Light # 47-59-002 has been discontinued but we do have the LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light w/ Reflex Reflector # MCL32RB which has the exact same dimensions as the red version and will work great as a replacement.

  • Need Replacement Tail Light Lens For SAE P2 A 99 Light On Lazy Daze RV
Hello Don, thanks for reaching out. Normally the SAE number isn't a reliable way to find the correct replacement as it is not a part number. I have seen this number come up before and we do have it in our records. It comes back as a 4" x 2" red clearance light from Bargman. Sadly, this light and lens are no longer available so our best option would be to replace the light entirely. For that, I recommend the following: - LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light w/ Reflex Reflector...

  • Replacement Clearance Light Lens Options for Glo-Brite 122r
Hey Stan, I did a little digging and it looks like the Glo-Brite 122 style red and yellow lights and lenses are no longer made or available. I found a few folks who ran into the same issue as you and had to replace their lights with new lights that were similar in design. The closest light we have to that old Glo-Brite model is the Optronics Clearance Lights # MCL32RB if you want LED or # MC32RB if you want incandescent. These lights are only about 1/4 of an inch taller than your original...

  • Looking For Replacement Light Lens For 2011 Puma Travel Trailer
Hello Barbara, thanks for reaching out. I can point you in the right direction, but the SAE number is not actually a part number for the light, so there is no way to use this to know exactly what light you have. The SAE number just means the light is compliant with DOT/SAE regulations, and this number can be found on most any trailer light. The best way to determine what lens you need will be to either find the part number for your light, or to compare the size and shape of the light...

  • Replacement Light for Optronics Red Clearance Light 20327-02
Optronics discontinued their light model 20327-02 some years back and we no longer have lens or base parts for it. You can instead use part # MC32RB for an incandescent light or part # MCL32RB for a high-efficiency LED type. Both have a white base.

  • Replacement LED Marker Lights for a 2009 Timberlodge Camper
Thanks for providing the picture. It looks like your current marker light is around 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2"- 2" wide and has mounting holes 3" apart. While we don't have anything in those exact dimensions, we do have several that are slightly larger so when you replace yours you will be able to completely cover the space the old lights used to be. I am slightly concerned about the width of your current light and how it fits in the groves on the side of your camper. I am going to recommend...

  • Replacing The Light And/Or Lens On A Bargman 34-59-010 LED Light
I do have an option for you but unfortunately the Bargman lens 34-59-010 you are looking for is no longer available. The lights themselves are also not available. I can offer you a virtually identical light in the Optronics # MCL32RB. This is a 4" long x 2" tall x 1' deep red LED clearance or side marker light, and will be virtually identical to your Bargman LED lights.

  • Replacement Marker Light Lens For A 2015 Jayco Jay Flight 195RB SLX
The light you are describing sounds very much like the Optronics # MCL32RB. It fits all of your parameters at a 4" long and 2" wide gently curved rectangle with rounded corners. If you are in need of just the lens we have that as part # A32RB. We do not have a way to know exactly what brand or model of light you have based off of the year make and model of camper, but it sounds like this is what you have. Are there any numbers on the base of the light that you can see? A lot of times...

  • Looking For Clearance Light To Replace Bargman 59 SAE A P2 83
Hello Robert. I was able to cross reference the part number you provided to the Bargman #59 Series clearance lights. These lights have unfortunately been discontinued, so a direct replacement is not available. We do have a light that is virtually identical, the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL32RB for red and # MCL32AB for amber. This light is 4" long x 2" tall x 1" deep so identical in size to your old Bargman lights.

  • Replacing Existing Clearance Lights on a Lancer Camper with Yellow and Green Wiring

  • How To Identify Trailer Marker Clearance Lamp to Find Correct Replacement
Are you speaking of a clearance/marker light? If so, the numbers you provided state that the lamp's lens is compliant with certain DOT regualations, but isn't necessarily an identifier that would help in finding a correct replacement. I'd recommend checking the lamp housing itself, and examine it closely for a part number. If I can get the actual part number of the lamp itself, or a photo with dimensions I can recommend a replacement lens or lamp if a lens isn't available. The # MCL32RB...

The Optronics Red LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL32RB will come from their factory in Taiwan. If you are looking for clearance lights that are made in the USA I recommend the Peterson Double Bullseye Clearance and Side Marker Trailer Light in Red # 425800 or Amber # 425600. These have the same 4" long by 2" wide footprint but use bulbs rather than LED's. The bulbs can be swapped for LED's # DI88VR if you prefer the lower power draw and longer life of LED lights.

  • Replacement Clearance Light for Escape Trailer
Thanks for the photos and it looks like you have found exactly what you need with the LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL32RB.
