Nice upgrade of my failing 1500# trailer jack...I have to park my boat on not so level rocked area next to my garage which put stress on the old jack. This F2 model is much beefier and literally took 10 minutes to swap out.

Nice for the first 2 years, before having to disassemble it and grease the shaft and top gears. Gets a lot of water inside for some reason. Too bad its not better sealed. Finally broke the gears and was told that they are meant to break as a safety precaution. Easy to replace and sent to me overnight and for free. It was Xmas! Nice. Two fishing trips after the gears were replaced, the cheap plastic housing meant to hold the crank, twisted right off. Suggestion for Chinese Manufacturer: Change to a more solid (aluminum) head. I only like this one because of the plate base, and swing away. Not really good for the stated capacity of 2000lbs. Must have been a typo for 200lbs. Wont buy this one again!!

This jack has exceeded all expectations. It’s easy to use, has great lifting and holding capacity, folds to the storage position easily & securely, and because of it’s folding capability (the main reason for purchasing it) we are able to open the truck tailgate while the trailer is hitched to the truck. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for - nice materials, construction, and functions.

Works GREAT!!! No rust or corrosion after a year of saltwater use! I have a high ball mount that most jacks cannot reach. This jack, due to its adjustability, raises my trailer tongue well beyond what I require. The second best trailer jack I have ever had. Behind only the Seasense all Stainless Steel jack, no longer in production, with the giant wheel. I have been through a lot of trailer jacks and believe this is the best one on the market today!

The Jack has worked great. I've bought 2 jacks with single wheel and double wheel and both broke. The wheels kept cracking and breaking. After buying this jack I have not had an issue. It works great!

I called the 800 number and customer service found me this product, which was bigger than normal and fit my trailer. I highly value the help etrailer.com gave me and appreciate the diligence of the representative who emailed me and followed up with me until I found the right product and was totally satisfied... Because I don't have all day to troll on line, I'll be back here for more parts as needed. Highly recommend it.

Review from a similar F2 Jack in Trailer Jack

Just got winch and jack installed. Very pleased so far. Such an upgrade from the stock equipment.

Comments
Overall it’s been ok. When trying to roll the boat the double wheel often gets jammed and slides sideways instead of rolling. A lot of effort is required to straighten it to roll in the desired direction. Something like a zero throw caster might work better there. A way of temporarily locking the wheel would also be helpful when using it o a inclined surface. Otherwise it’s has been pretty good.

Review from a similar F2 Jack in Trailer Jack

Once I got this on my boat trailed, it made the trailer much easier to get on and off the vehicle. Too bad, when the boat mfg sells you a boat for over $50,000, they can't put quality parts on the trailer. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend

Mush easier to raise boat from vehicle. I enjoy the clip that holds the handle. Continues to work as when new

Review from a similar F2 Jack in Trailer Jack

This is a great jack. My previous jack(rated to 1200lbs.) was bent after raising the back end of the boat trailer to replace broken leaf springs and that's why I ordered a heavier duty jack. I really like the piece that keeps the crank from rotating while trailering and the dual wheels make it much easier to push/reposition the boat while it's being stored inside. The previous jack was a weld on mount so the installation was more involved. I didn't go with another weld on jack because none of the available weld on type jacks matched the hole positions on the existing weld on plate and I didn't want to deal with getting a welder to install/weld a new plate to the trailer frame. I ground off the plate from the trailer frame and smoothed the surface where the weld beads were. The u bolts that came with the new jack were too small to fit around the trailer frame so I drilled holes through the frame and was able to easily mount the jack with the u bolts provided. The jack works like a charm and looks great too. It was an excellent choice.

Comments
The jack has performed excellently since I installed it. I am very pleased with it and it just feels so much sturdier than the original jack. The extra cost to purchase a heavier duty jack wasnt a whole lot more and I really like the confidence it gives me knowing it is stronger. It also cranks smoother with less effort. Couldnt be happier with my purchase. Thanks Rachael.

Review from a similar F2 Jack in Trailer Jack

Overall I've been quite happy with this trailer jack. The adjustability is what had me sold - I was able to set it at the perfect height to get my trailer on the hitch, whereas with the old unit I had to jack up the trailer slightly, or run a really high ball height. Two minor niggles with the unit are that the handle holder slips off when driving, and that the optional wedge kit doesn't hold the trailer very well. I'd give it a 4.5 overall.

Comments
Its been another year, and the jack is still working perfectly. Its lived outside all year and shows no signs of corrosion. I do need to pull it off at some point and tighten the bolts that cinch up the pivot mechanism, as its developed a little bit of play there.

I bought two, replacing one I had on my MasterCard trailer and as a gift to another MasterCard owner. It is the most secure, quality jack ive owned (I have 8 trailers now) owned over 20. Easy to crank, easy to swivel, easy to swing up, looks great, you can adjust the preset height to your application and I will rebuild my ok’d one. Highly recommend it! etrailer was the cheapest!

Problem solved. My boat trailer kills trailer jacks due to heavy batteries located in the front of my boat. Total tongue weight is 450 Lbs. This product performs flawlessly and shows no signs of wear after over 200 cycles of use.

Review from a similar F2 Jack in Trailer Jack

The trailer jack f2 arrived in perfect shape at a very competitive price. The quality of the product was surpassed only by the fabulous customer service. I teach sales training and customer training and I have a new example of excellent customer service to present to my classes. More purchases to follow. The jack is installed on an all aluminum diamond plate show trailer for my Canam Spyder F3 trailer. The style of the all aluminum jack compliments the trailer.

Comments
It’s working fabulously. Best feature is the locking wheel which really stops the trailer without a chock. Classy appearance compliments my all aluminum trailer

  • Best Swivel Jacks for 7,000 lb Car Hauler Trailer
I'd be happy to give you the options for the best swivel jacks for your 7,000 lb car hauler trailer. In regards to capacity you simply need enough to match or surpass the tongue weight of your loaded hauler, which is normally about 10 percent to 15 percent of the trailer's weight. I'm not sure if 7,000 lbs is your GVWR or not so I recommend going with a heavy-duty jack and the best option for one that bolts on is the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack w/ Pivoting Footplate # F1413230134 which fits...
