Can Fulton F2 Trailer Jack that Attaches with U-Bolts Attach to Trailer Frame that is 5x2 inches

Question:
I currently have a Fulton Magnum series jack rated for 1200lb that attaches via weld. see pic The hole dimensions are 3inch by ~5 1/2 The current jack is insufficient as it really bends at an angle. The current jack plate is mounted to the part of my trailer that is 5inch by 2. I dont necessarily need wheels because the boat weighs 8000lbs so it cant be moved well anyways. Ive been looking at the Fulton F2 2000lb bolt on with pivoting foot plate F14413230134. The issue I see is that the mounting U-bolts have short threads, so it wont tighten against my trailer. An alternate way to mount it would be to have a pair of mounting brackets and the backside and tighten against them. something like the brackets included with the FXP15L jack or simply have U-bolts with more threads so I can tighten it up. Do you have any suggestions? feel free to call too. 6513355840

The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack w/ Pivoting Footplate # F1413230134 that you referenced will fit your trailer frame that measures 5 inches tall and 2 inches wide. Since your frame is a bit narrower what you'll need to do is use a metal spacer between the frame of the trailer and the u-bolts to take up the additional space.
