The hitch receiver fit perfectly in my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe - no modifications needed. My helper, my wife and I installed it quickly and neatly. Etrailer's videos, products, prices, and customer support are the best in this area - and I have shopped around.
Fits perfectly. I installed it by myself so I had to rig up a way to hold it in place while starting the bolts but it still only took me 45 minutes to complete. Works perfectly for my bike rack, luggage rack, and small trailer.
Received my Curt custom hitch and wiring harness and had it installed in a hour. There was no need to drop the exhust, I just had to bend the bumper alignment pins down a little and lower the spare tire. The wiring harness was plug and use, so it just required zip ties to keep the wires up and off the exhust. I love the look and fitment very much. If I had anything negative to say. It would be that I wished the 4 pin wiring plug had a bracket to hold it instead of zip ties or just letting it hang. Which I will be buying one and installing it as well. But overall pretty happy with my purchase. Thanks
The trailer hitch that I got from you was perfect went on with no problems and the trailer wires plugged right into the cars wires and the plastic bumper cover went back on and hides it all

I installed the hitch on a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe and as other have mentioned I had to bend the bumper alignment pins down a little to get bolts and washer to go on but even that was super easy - barely an inconvenience!
Extremely pleased with Draw tight receiver. Bought it for a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fa.Arrived in 2 days. Very easy to install by myself and didn't even have to jack up the vehicle, lowered the spare tire underneath and removed to get it out of the way, bolted up the Hitch and put the tire back on and cranked back into place and done. About an hour said and done, getting everything ready and put a way. Only thing I had to do underneath was bend 2 factory bumper tabs out of the way with a pair of adjustable pliers
installation was super easy, i was able to install with all 4 tires on the ground with no assistance.

The receiver arrived just 4 days after placing the order & that is in the middle of the holiday week. I received the product and me & my son had it installed in about 30 minutes, was a perfect fit. When I placed the order for it I was skeptical because it was so much cheaper than all the other competitors. But when it arrived I was very pleased very Sturdy steel construction, very easy to install fit like a glove. I have ordered & installed others but none as nice as this. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install a receiver. I would definitely use them again.
It fit my vehicle almost perfectly. I had to use a bit of force to get my bolts through the holes, they were just barely off. I was afraid I would have to drill them out to make them fit but but I was able to thread the bolts through the holes (They were supposed to just slide through)and hammer them the rest of the way without damage to the threads. Inconvenient by a hair but the overall fit was great. I love that the hitch is hidden from sight until I want to use it, no banged up shins bumping into it.

It sounds like the hitch receiver was a bit flexed. The brackets need to be bent slightly to align correctly. Here is an article that explains more:

UPDATE: after having this product for one year Im still extremely satisfied with this product. The installation was easy on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Ive used many many times to carry my heavy electric bikes. Also, to carry luggage and a motorcycle trailer. It works and is heavy duty. I still recommend it and for my trailer needs I always go to etrailer. They are helpful and carry quality items.
The hitch was an easy install and fit great. We are using it for a 4-bike rack so far and have no complaints. Thanks!

Still a great hitch and getting lots of use.
Unit came packaged well with all parts. The instructions were very good with the video to install. I did note the first bolts were 16mm not 17mm like in the video, but that is minor. I was able to brace the unit under the car by myself and bolt it (not on a lift).
We have had this trailer hitch for a year now. It is served as well. We often pull a golf cart and trailer and regularly have our bikes and rack attached. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about installing a trailer hitch and skipping the cost of having it done in a service shop. It was easy to do and has held up well.
The items took longer to arrive than originally stated, but Etrailer did notify me that one of the items was going to be late due to supplier being out of that product. But since I was not in need of any of the products by the original date promised it was not a problem. All products arrived in good condition.

Easy to install fit perfectly .
All aspects of this order were perfect. The delivery was several days early.
The hitch, harness, accessories and instructions were exactly as promised. The online video made installation simple. All bolts and the harness lined up perfectly. Towing and light hookups exactly as required.
Will order through E-trailer again for next vehicle application.
Only paint quality is pure - peels of .Frame fits perfectly. It's very solid.

I'm glad I bought this. I tow about 3-5 times a year, but I carry my dirt bike on a hitch mounted carrier weekly. This thing takes the abuse, holding up a 350lbs dual sport motorcycle over and over again. It was an easy installation, works right. Would buy again with no issues.
Very easy to install, very solid. The instructions and how-to videos from etrailer.com are the clearest, most reliable instructions I've ever seen for a product. Everything was exactly the way they said it would be, and that made installation very easy.
I installed this hitch receiver in under an hour, by myself (my wife was busy with the baby, or she'd have given me a hand). I had one bolt that didn't go through very easily but with a little encouragement it popped through. I figured I'd have to jack the back of the vehicle up, but was able to do the entire install just lying on my back - there's plenty of room to work.

I recently purchased this trailer hitch for our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. After about 20 minutes (and the help of my son) the hitch was installed! Everything went together well and the installation looks seamless. I am very happy with the service from etrailer.com and will definitely recommend them to family and friends!
A few notes to help with the installation:
1: Prior to raising the hitch into position, make certain to reposition the bumper alignment bolts slightly downward. I used a small piece of galvanized pipe to sleeve over the bolts and pry downwards. This will also help to keep the rubberized undercoating in place without marring anything!
2: Make certain to torque the M10 and M12 bolts to the recommended values. This will ensure a tight and secure fit.

Very great product Way easy to install alone for the most part haha!!
Easy install! A friend and I crawled under my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and installed it in the driveway. I cranked all the bolts tight on the left side tight and two bolts on the right side didn’t line up with the holes. Rookie mistake on our part! Just remember to get ALL bolts lined up with their holes (hand tightened) before cranking them super tight with a wrench . All we had to do was loosen the tightened bolts, adjust it ever so slightly and then snugged everything up.
Oh, I watched etrailer’s online install videos prior to install. If it hadn’t been for our rookie mistake with prematurely tightening some of the bolts and misalignment the hitch, it would’ve been a 30 minute install.
This thing is pretty darn easy to install is built solid!! I haven’t used it yet, but I’m impressed with the ease of install and immediate email follow up after purchase & delivery. I can’t wait to hook up my travel carrier to the back.
I found the trailer hitch receiver to be of outstanding quality and it was a perfect fit for our 2017 Santa Fe 7 passenger. I encountered one issue when I opened the hardware pack and discovered the M12 bolts and M12 nuts were not the same thread size. Fortunately my workshop is well stocked with nuts, bolts, screws, and other assorted hardware so I found four nut that fit the bolts. The second issue I encountered had nothing to do with the receiver but with the installation information. There are two locating pins on the bumper assembly that mate with holes on the frame, I presume to make it easier for the assembly personnel to install. These two pins obstruct the two rear horizontal mounting holes requiring them to be removed or bent slightly to one side. Once I bent these (I didn't bother getting out my grinder to remove them) the entire install took less time than getting out my tools and then putting them away. It was a very easy process but I would recommend the use of a floor jack as the receiver is very heavy and I was installing it by myself .
