I installed the hitch to my 1986 Chevy C10 truck, it fits perfectly and solid. I used a floor jack with two small axle stainds. All four outside holes lined up, he’d to drill the other two. I did it by myself in a couple hours. If you have a helper, have him spray WD40 on the drill bit to keep it cool. Find a white wheel cover for the spare tire and store it in the bed. You will never want to crawl underneath your truck while on the side of the road anyway. Tha space tire is a bear to remove even in my driveway .I am well pleased with this hitch bracket. I did not have to remove the bumper to install it.

Very easy install. with minor drilling to the frame. Install only took an hour to complete.

Appears well-made and installation was straightforward. Only wish the pre-drilled mounting holes lined up with holes on the truck frame. Would’ve saved a lot of drilling.
Good quality craftsmanship, paint coating came chipping from package, fits my 1965 f100 perfectly, not bad for a 1965 f100.
The 'Drawtite' model 41001 is by far the best trailer hitch i have ever owned. When i opened the box it came in, i couldnt beleive how stout and Heavy-Duty' this thing was. Installation was a breeze and only had to drill two holes. I would definetly recommend any 'Drawtite' as your next trailer hitch. I have one on my Ford Ranger too.

Once installed, you will never have to worry about it again. Ive had mine for 1 year and ive pulled some pretty heavy loads with it on my old 66 Ford truck.
I bought this for my '68 GMC 3/4 ton, which is in really nice shape so I wanted a clean install. The hitch was pretty easy to fit - I had to drill holes in the frame but I knew that going in. I especially liked the built-in bracket for mounting the trailer plug, worked great with a Curt combo 7 pin / 4 pin adapter from eTrailer.

Ignoring the truck is 57 years old this installed very quickly by my self.
Using 3 standard wood working "F" clamps and a 1/2" unibit, it took 30 minutes to install on my back in the driveway.
Great hitch at a good price with fast and free shipping! Just what I need to pull a 5000 lb trailer with my 1966 Chevy K10. Would have given it five stars but the packaging was torn up. Thankfully, the bag of bolts was securely taped to the hitch, so I'm good to go.

just installed 4/8/21.fairly easy job. L & R center holes lined up w/existing holes. protrudes about 1-2 inches past bumper. perfect fit for my 70 F-100. would be 5 stars if it proves up over time.
