Video Transcript for Comprehensive Review: Maxtrax Mini Recovery Boards

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these Maxtrax mini recovery boards. Now these two desert tan small recovery boards are going to give you traction when your tires are bogged down in the snow, sand, or mud. And the rows of traction teeth that you see here are gonna give you a surface that your tires can grip onto. Now the compact size is going to be great for your UTVs or smaller vehicles with space constraints.

And these boards are actually going to nest on top of each other. Let me give you another view here, a closeup view just to show you how these are going to nest together very easily. So when you have them together like this, they're gonna take up virtually no space at all, which is great. So very easy to store these. And while we're talking about size, lemme go ahead and give you some measurements of these boards.

So going back overhead, I'm gonna flip one of these over here so I can give you a more accurate measurement. So beginning with the length from end to end. So I hope you can see there we're sitting right at 25 inches long. And then looking at the width, we're sitting pretty close to 13 inches, right at 12 and seven eights inches wide. And then looking at the height or thickness, lemme go back to my closeup view here, move this off to the side here just a little bit so you can see.

I'm gonna get my ruler for this one. So measuring bottom to top, we're sitting pretty close to two and five eighths inches tall. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size of these mini recovery boards. The fiber reinforced nylon construction is going to make these boards lightweight, but very strong. They're going to be light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle.

These weigh a little over four pounds per board, so very lightweight but very heavy duty. So they're gonna be able to bear the full weight of your vehicle without breaking. And then these built-in handles that you see here, you're gonna have built-in handles on either side of each board. They're going to let you easily take this to where you need to use them to get your vehicle free. And then they're gonna be very, very easy to transport as well. And then these do come with leashes here, you're gonna get a set of two leashes that I have bundled up here, just a safe space on my table. And then you can run these through the handle of one of the boards here in case you're gonna be using these boards in an area where it's gonna be hard to actually get the board out of whatever terrain you're using, whether it's sand or mud or something like that. You can just wrap the leash around the handle and when you're done using it, give the leash yank and that'll help free the board. So you are going to get two leashes with these boards and they're a bright orange color, so they're gonna be very visible. And then I also wanna point out that each board has four mounting holes or pin holes, and you can use those for Maxtrax mounting pins that we also carry here at etrailer.com. And those mounting pins and those different options that we have of mounting pins will let you mount this like to the top of your vehicle on a rack or something like that. Something I also wanted to point out is you can flip this over and use each end as kind of a shovel to help you kind of begin digging your vehicle out and then use this to get into a position then, once you clear enough terrain to get this into place to begin to recover your vehicle. So I'm a big fan of these recovery boards from Maxtrax. We do carry a variety of color, different colors and sizes depending on your needs. And some of them, we actually have with aluminum teeth on there as well for more extreme heavy duty operations. But overall, very well designed, very rugged, very durable. And if this meets the particular specification that you're looking for and if the color matches what you're looking for as well, I think you're gonna be very satisfied with them.
