Question:
Is this hitch 34 center to center?
asked by: Chuck
Expert Reply:
The technician at Draw-Tite informed me that this Class III Max E-Loader Trailer Hitch, part # 41001, is not 34 inches from center to center. It measures 34 inches from the outside of the arms, and is designed to fit Ford cab and chassis trucks with a 34 inch frame. I see in your question that you were looking for a hitch for a 1998 Chevy Pickup with a 6ft bed, so I wanted to make sure you know that this hitch will not fit a 1998 Chevy truck. It is a custom fit product for the 1999 and 2000 Ford Super Duty Cab and Chassis. If you look on the page with this hitch, near the bottom of the specs you will see what vehicles this hitch will fit.
