product went on just like they showed in the video but the one thingI think should be added is how hard it actully is to get the exhaust is to get off without the specialty tool that they mention, but it did come off and the hitch went on witout a hitch.
Hitch was very good quality, and received within a few days with free shipping. Easy purchase. The harness did not fit and we are currently working on setting up a return for credit, and ordering the correct harness.
The hitch installed perfect, very easy and looks good. Customer Service was GREAT with notifications on receiveing the order and tracking information, very refreshing to see, kudos. On the wiring part the right turn signal wire was about 2 feet short and was also described this way in the installation video. This was the only frustrating part for me I do have a stock of wire but of course did not have any the right guage or length so I had to run to the store with another car to get some. It would be a lot better for all if the manufacturer would make the green wire a little longer.

I found your company searching online and was immediately impressed by the video demonstration on my car model. After reading the many positivie reviews I decided to order the hitch. It arrived within 2 days of ordering. After watching the video and reading the instructions I began the install. Keep in mind I am a novice and did not have a lift but like the instructions said it should take about 90 minutes and it did! It looks great, was easy to install and your service was fantastic. Dodge Journey SXT Curt 13201 hitch.
Regular shipping, received within a week. Followed video instructions and it took me about 2 ½ hours. I don’t have a hoist so I lifted it up on about 16 inch jack stands. I don’t know how the video makes it look like there is so much room to remove the muffler hangers, but I had a time getting my hands into the space. I had to pry off 3 of the hangers and fight to get the last off by hand. I had saturated them with soapy water. Bolting on the hitch was easy with the help of my wife holding one end up and my daughter starting the nuts. It looked like the spare tire would be locked in, so I dropped the spare and raised it up again to make sure it would work. It fits fine, but you need to guide the tire to get it to slide in above the hitch and into place. Using the soapy water we were able to force the muffler hangers into place, but had to use blocks and a pry to lift and hold the mufflers enough to attach the hangers. Would I do it again? I’m 66 years old and have some sore spots from rolling on the cement floor and a few banged up knuckles. Of course I would do it again. Less than 200 bucks for hitch and wiring for lights beats the $600 the hitch shop wanted to install it. I still need to do the lights, but am totally satisfied with my purchase.
As advertised. My mechanic had it mounted quickly and w/o issue. Not for towing in my case (as my car can't pull a horse), but for a bike rack and cargo platform. Always have good transactions with etrailer.

I also have a 2018 Dodge Journey that cannot pull a horse.. lol What kind of bike rack do you use? I am thinking about upgrading! I have an old Reese hanging rack.

After a year I have had no problems what so ever with this hitch. Awesome product that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for hitches. Quality is great, no rust or chipping paint. I use it all the time, pulling a utility trailer and it has been great. Matched with a receiver cover and the curt wire harness and mount it is the perfect combination for a sleek look when not pulling a trailer as well.
