There is wiring you can add to your 2016 Dodge Journey with LED tail lights but there is not a specific harness for a brake controller. If you are towing with a hitch on your '16 Journey such as the Curt # C13201 you will need to start by adding a 4-way that is compatible with your LED tail lights, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118536. I have added links to installs of both these parts on a 2016 Journey for you to use as an easy reference for your install.

To add a brake controller to your vehicle you will need the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L in order to add the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180, which is the easiest brake controller on the market to use. You only need to download an app, set up the controller and plug it into the 7-way that comes with the brake controller install kit.
