Direction of Conical Washers When Installing Curt Hitch on 2016 Honda Pilot
Updated 07/28/2020 | Published 07/24/2020 >
Question:
I am installing C13146, a Curtis Trailer Hitch Receiver. It comes with conical washers. Should the conical washers be installed so that the side with the teeth points up, toward the car? Or, should they be installed so that the side with the teeth points down, toward the ground? Thanks.

The conical washers will be facing up, so the teeth are pointing towards the hitch - just like you have them in your hand - when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13146 on your 2016 Honda Pilot.
I have also added a link to a video install on a '16 Pilot for you to check out of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13146.
