  • Which Curt Hitch 2016 Ford Flex with Dual Exhaust
I wish there was, but if you look at the difference between the part # 13551 that you have and the Curt hitch that does fit the dual exhaust models part # C13110 you can see there's a pretty huge difference (see attached pictures). I wish I had a great solution for your scenario but the only way you'll be able to install a hitch on your 2016 Ford Flex with dual exhaust is going to be with the Curt hitch # C13110.

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch for Dual Exhaust Fit Single Exhaust 2010 Ford Flex
Hi Jack; it looks like it will based on the holes in the frame and the installation instructions. However, according to Curt the # C13110 will only fit dual exhaust models. If you have a single exhaust 2010 Ford Flex you need the Curt # 13551 instead.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Ford Flex SEL without Ecoboost
For a 2012 Ford Flex without Ecoboost the correct Curt hitch is # 1355 or the etrailer hitch # e95KR. These hitches are very similar and either would be a great choice. The most popular choice is the Curt # 13551. I would recommend going with the one that costs the least. Curt hitch # C13110 that you referenced is designed to fit the following models: 2009 - 2018 Ford Flex with Dual Exhaust 2010 - 2017 Lincoln MKT with EcoBoost If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer...

  • Wiring Brake Controller and 7-Way to 2013 Lincoln MKT
We have a way to install a 7-way on your 2013 Lincoln MKT but there isn't a way to tie into any factory wiring. What you'd need to start with a custom fit 4-way part # C56095 and then convert that to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything needed to wire up a brake controller as well. Then for a brake controller the P2 # 90885 would work really well. If you can verify the brake controller wiring is active you can use some of the circuits there. Red wire of controller...

  • Parts Needed to Add a Towing Package to a 2016 Ford Flex
According to my research you can tow up to 4,500 lbs with your 2016 Ford Flex if you have the Class III Trailer Towing Package (which looks like it includes a 4/7 Way wiring harness, hitch receiver, trailer sway controller, and an engine oil cooler). If you don't have the Class III trailer towing package then you are limited to 2,000 lbs. We have compatible parts to "give" you the Class III trailer towing package but you will need to double check with Ford to make sure that it will still...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2010 Lincoln MKT with EcoBoost
For your 2010 Lincoln MKT with EcoBoost I recommend the Curt trailer hitch # C13110. This is a popular option for MKT owners. The hitch is rated for 400 pounds tongue weight and 4,000 pounds gross trailer weight (be sure to check the vehicle owners manual for its capacity). I have linked the instructions and a video showing isntallation for you. I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag....

  • Trailer Hitch for a 2010 Ford Flex with or without Dual Exhaust
You are correct, dual exhaust is exhaust on each side of the vehicle, not a dual tip on just one side. But the hitch fits either style. The installation instructions for Curt trailer hitch # C13110 actually do mention dual exhaust. You have to scroll further down to the plain black and white version of the instructions to see the note which appears before step 1. The note says: The Ford Flex Ecoboost and the Lincoln MKT models have dual exhaust. Repeat instruction for passenger side. This...

  • Tongue Weight Capacities of Trailer Hitches Available for 2016 Ford Flex
As long as the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the wheelchair/scooter comes in under the tongue weight capacity of the hitch being used on the vehicle, the fact that the Flex has a unibody won't be relevant. When Curt designed the # C13110 for dual exhaust models and the # 13551 for single exhaust models, they did extensive testing to ensure that the vehicles could handle the tongue load the hitches were rated for. As long as no extenders or adapters are used that adds distance...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Ford Flex
We have hitches available that are confirmed to fit your 2015 Ford Flex. If you have dual exhaust you would want the Curt Hitch part # C13110, if you have single exhaust you would want the part # 13551 instead. I attached install videos for both hitches for you to check out. For ball mounts I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag.

  • Least Visible Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2012 Ford Flex Limited EcoBoost Dual Exhaust
Both of the trailer hitches available for your 2012 Ford Flex with dual exhaust have the same design and install in the same places on the vehicle so they will all look pretty much the same. The cross tube will be visible beneath the rear bumper but is recessed enough to not be glaring. The most popular option is the etrailer trailer hitch # e52AR but Curt hitch # C13110 will work just as well. I would go with whichever costs less. I have included links to videos showing installations...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2002 Lexus ES 300
The discontinued multi-fit trailer hitch 37042 does not fit the 2002 Lexus ES 300. For a custom fit hitch that will fit your Lexus you can use # 36336. This is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. It is rated for 300 pounds tongue weight and 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight but is limited to the capacity of the vehicle. If you plan on doing any towing the recommended ball mount is # 36061. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring...

  • Looking For Lockable Roof Rack And Wiring Harness For 2018 Ford Flex EcoBoost
Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. As far as a roof rack for your 2018 Ford Flex Limited Ecoboost, I recommend the Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack # Y27KB. This is a complete roof rack system so you get your 60" aero crossbars, towers and custom fit kit. You can add the Lock System # Y07204 to lock each tower to the roof for added security. The Yakima roof racks are known for being durable and they come with a lifetime warranty. We do offer several different wiring harnesses for the 2018...

  • Trailer Wiring Harness for a 1994 Lexus ES 300
All of the trailer wiring harnesses for the 1994 Lexus ES 300 are hardwire kits meaning you will have to splice them into the tail light wiring on the vehicle. To install these harnesses you will need to first test the tail light wiring to determine the functions of the vehicle wires and then splice into them accordingly. Wiring harness # C59236 includes a small circuit tester so you would not have to get one separately. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

  • Weight Distribution Recommendation for Trailer that Weighs 4,000 lbs
All of the components you mentioned will do a great job for a towing setup for your 2017 Ford Flex and they are all linked below for you to check out but to answer your main question about weight distribution the way to do it is to base off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup. So since your trailer would be 4,000 lb you'd most likely have a tongue weight around 400 to 500 lbs so the system I would recommend is the Strait Line part # RP66082 which has a tongue weight range between...

I have added a link to a video which shows this harness being installed on a 2016 MKT, which is the same generation as your 2011 so the install will be the same. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2017 Ford Flex With Dual Exhaust
We have exactly what you are looking for. For your 2017 Ford Flex with Dual Exhaust I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13110 due to it being made here in the USA and is designed for vehicles with the Dual Exhaust. This hitch has a 400lb tongue weight rating and 4000lb trailer weight rating making it a perfect option for carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier, or for using a ball mount to tow a trailer. If you are planning on towing a trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring...

  • Hitch and Recommended Towing Accessories for 2014 Ford Flex
For the 2014 Ford Flex with dual exhaust, I'd recommend the US made Curt Class III hitch, part # C13110. If you'll be towing with the hitch as opposed to just using it for a hitch mounted accessory, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wiring harness, use # 118472 or # 74682 if your Flex is equipped with the tow package. For a ball mount, I'd go with # 2753 which includes the hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 63845...

  • Swing-Away Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2014 Ford Flex That Will Clear Heat from Dual Exhaust
The two 2-inch hitches we offer that fit your 2014 Ford Flex with dual exhaust are Draw-Tite # 75679 and Curt # C13110. Once installed these two hitches will be fairly close to the rear of the vehicle; the hitch pin holes will be about 3-inches forward of the rear edge of the bumper cover. As most hitches go, this is a relatively large amount of clearance, meaning that a hitch cargo carrier will be fairly far from the two exhaust tips. The hitch receiver opening will be pretty much at the...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2018 Ford Flex
From what I found your 2018 Ford Flex could have a maximum towing capacity up to 4,500 pounds if equipped properly. I recommend checking your owner's manual or with Ford's towing guide and match up the features of your Flex to find its towing capacity. I recommend the Curt hitch, part # C13110, for your 2018 Ford Flex because it's tucked under the bumper about 3/4 of an inch more than the Draw-Tite hitch. Although they're both pretty visible. For the wiring start with the 4-way # 118472...

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2013 Lincoln MKT
I'd be happy to help you with that. For a hitch, I'd recommend the US made Curt # C13110 Class III hitch. In my opinion, Curt does a nicer job on their powder coat finish which is why I'd recommend that option over the Draw-Tite # 75679 you'd looked at. For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Curt T-Connector # C56095. You'll also need a ball mount like # D-28, a hitch pin like # PC3 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball. I've linked to install videos...

You can definitely use a ball mount in the rise position to give you enough rise for your trailer to be towed level.
