For your 2010 Lincoln MKT with EcoBoost I recommend the Curt trailer hitch # C13110. This is a popular option for MKT owners. The hitch is rated for 400 pounds tongue weight and 4,000 pounds gross trailer weight (be sure to check the vehicle owners manual for its capacity). I have linked the instructions and a video showing isntallation for you.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For a trailer wiring harness you can use # C56095. It plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring and powers the trailer lights via a direct connection to the vehicle battery. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you and a link to a help article on routing the power wire.
