Average Customer Rating:  4.9 out of 5 stars   (97 Customer Reviews)

This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.

The product fit perfectly, arrived very well packaged with all needed hardware. While it took longer than advertised to get on the car, it may have been my struggle with mufflers that had to be moved out of the way for attachment to car. The only surprise was the load capacity on the hitch receiver. I thought I would receive a 5000lb capacity unit, but received a 3500lb unit. More than enough for my towing needs so I'm happy with the installation. The unit is barely visible when the ball is not in the receiver. That's a nice perk.

Ford Edge

Quality & Fitment is very good, installed on Dad's 300C Heritage Touring everthing went very smoothly on install, visually inspected hitch welds and paint all looked to be very well done, purchased this hitch for use of a power chair lift so that dad would have more mobility options but as of today the lift hasn't been used due to weather! Also purchased the stabilizer strap, don't really care for the attachment point, extra care will need to be taken to not damage paint at forward edge of trunk lid, will use a microfiber chamois cloth changing frequently to avoid any problems!

2009 Chrysler 300C

I recently ordered 13465 class III hitch and this C55546 vehicle wiring harness for my 09 Chrysler 300C. It was very easy to install and times provided were very close. It took me just about two hours to install the hitch and harness. I did however stray a bit from the instructions on the harness though to make it more permanent and secure. Drilled hole in trunk floor pan and ran harness through it with some wire loom and a grommet. Then drilled a small hole in flat part of safety chain bracket on hitch to secure harness to hitch. I was a first time customer and would diffently use again.

2010 Dodge Charger

Instructions were pretty good. I had never installed a hitch before. Took about 2 hours with me doing it by myself. Instructions say novice takes about an hour. I think with 2 people, it definitely would take an hour or less. Will need to drive back of car onto ramps in order to get to exhaust hangers to drop exhaust lower so you can bolt in the hitch. This was for a 2010 Dodge Charger. I bought this vehicle used so I don't know if it had a custom bumper on it, but the hitch doesn't go out far enough so my bike rack looks like it would rub against the bumper. I'm going to have to get an extension, but I'm still very happy with the product.

Still working just like I had installed it yesterday. Would buy again.

2006 Dodge Magnum

This receiver is very well designed and the coating on it is well done and appears quite durable. It tucks up under the car so far you barely notice it is there. Installation was EXACTLY as described in the instructions and video. Lowering the exhaust is NOT a big deal. My toughest hurtle was cleaning out the M12-1.75 threads that had corroded a bit on my 2006 R/T AWD Magnum. Not having the right tap, I had my local muffler shop clean those out, then I installed the hitch. Easy Peasy.

2010 Dodge Challenger

Hitch mounts right up with no installation problems. A lot easier if you have a helping hand but doable by your self as I did. Use it mostly for bike rack but towed a buddy's railbuggy home when it broke down once and it held up good.

As a soldier I had not time to place the package on my vehicle as of yet But what I can say Is that my package came early and with all the components to it and it was the cheapest at the time for all that I ordered your prices are the best I have seen in months keep them low and you will have more come to buy from you.

You have my recommendation

2007 Chrysler 300C

I recently purchased this hitch and wiring harness for my car so I could haul my Polaris rzr. The products were installed with ease, only issue I had was rusted threads on my car. A little spay or a tap solved this issue. The hitch handles the load well. I would recommend this supplier to anyone. Fast delivery and good service. Instructions are detailed and complete. Videos are a plus, very helpful.

All handled on line. Carol made recommendation to change type of hitch which expedited delivery of all items.

This is the best store for any trailer accessories.... hands down.. fast shipping.. products easy to use and install..

I dont think you'll get any better!!! This is my second order for two cars I own and I'm very happy with etrailers customer service, getting orders out quickly and their products!!! : )

Dodge Charger

I would recommend etrailer and this product,,very fast shipping and simple to install at a great price
Now I can haul a trailer with motorcycles and kayaks with my Dodge Charger
My 2 grandsons helped install

2006 Dodge Magnum

I placed my order on a Friday evening around 9pm. I was not expecting to get any shipping notice until after the weekend. I received an email about 2 hours later saying my hitch was about to ship! No other company I've ever shopped online with was that quick. I choose the 3-5 day shipping and got it Tuesday afternoon. Both the hitch and wiring harness purchased are top quality. Only negative I have is that I have to download and print out the mounting instructions...

Im very happy with my trailer hitch. I thought I would be able to install it myself but once I saw the instructions, I decided to have a professional install it for me.

2009 Dodge Charger

Arrived on time. Fit perfectly. The muffler was a little more trouble than noted. I had to disconnect the two back hangers as you said but I also had to disconnect the third hanger to be able to move the muffler enough to tighten the two forward nuts. A little more trouble than you said but acceptable. I'd also say a little more than 30 minutes unless you have all the tools needed standing by and an extra hand to hold the hitch up in place to install. With two people, 30 minutes no problem.

Installed myself very quickly and easil y!

2005 Chrysler 300

Here are three pictures of my new Curt Hitch installed on my Chrysler 300 Limited.

Dodge Charger

Easy to install, sturdy, and well made. Installed it on my Dodge Charger RT yesterday and hauled my dirt bike on a hitch variety today with 100% confidence in this product.

2006 Chrysler 300C

Curt Hitch receiver fits nicely on 2006 Chrysler Hemi C. It is mostly out of site when not towing, and does not detract from vehicle's appearance.

Still working great. Nice to be able to tow my utility trailer with my 300 when my Suburban is in for maintenance.

2009 Dodge Challenger

Hitch installed easily on my 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T. Instructions were good and easy to follow. It took an afternoon to install. I towed a trailer with my Ducati from Montana to Las Vegas, Nv with no problems. I would recommend this product. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a holder of some sort for the 4 way flat plug, just so that it would tuck up neatly and not dangle down and look ugly.

The customer service at etrailer is awsome. My trailer hitch and T connector wiring arrived exactly when promised. The hitch bolted up to my vehicle as per the instructions which were very clear and easy to follow. It only took me about an hour in my backyard with hand tools to install. I will utilize etrailer in the future and will recommend etrailer to my family and friends

2007 Dodge Charger

Very impressed with this Curt hitch. I was a more than a little apprehensive of adding a hitch to my '07 Dodge Charger R/T. This hitch has an incredible high gloss finish and it tucks up neatly under the car whereas it's not nearly as noticeable as I feared it would be. In my opinion it does not distract at all from the appearance of my car. It took about an hour to install. Great product and I ordered it on a Thursday and received it on Monday.Would order another Curt hitch from in a heartbeat.

Fit perfectly. I loved the little wire tool that lets you easily put the forward bolt in through the frame channel that you can't get your hand too. What a time and life saver! Excellent product, good directions and has performed flawlessly! I tow small 5x10 trailer and 14ft all weld fishing boat with no problems.

Dodge Magnum

Best there is!So I ordered the CL-III hitch and wiring harness for my Dodge Magnum SXT. Order placed late afternoon on 27 Dec- arrived early afternoon 29 Dec, that is seriously quick shipping. After I placed the order, I rec'd email confirmation and with the usual customer service statement "feel free to contact me...". Well, I did, I immediately emailed and asked how I could upgrade my shipping, that I needed the hitch no kidding in time for my last move retiring from the Army. The shipping was updated, confirmed and was so without incurring more charges. Product fit as stated, very easy install, and quality of the Curtis product is awesome. T- connector for the Dodge CAN-Bus electrical system was clearly labeled, well packaged and instructions were complete. Total install time for me using basic hand tools was just under an hour for both hitch and harness. This is my third order from eTrailer and will definitely do business with them again.

Sweet!!! Very fast delivery, it was a perfect fit, I had everything I needed, it looks good, in a nut shell it was as advertised. FYI I want to a Trailer hitch installer and was quoted $340, so I saved about $200 (wiring harness and flag hitch cover included) to spend less than an hour doing it myself. I would certainly tell my friends to buy from here>

2005 Chrysler 300C

This hitch fit perfectly. Took a little more than the recommended brush to clear the rusty threads on my 2005 (actually used a tap) but the bolt fish tool that was provided work very well. Once the rusty holes were cleared, installation only took minutes.

A year in and still working great. The Curt hitch is of really good quality materials and has proven to be very durable.

Ask the Experts about this CURT Trailer Hitch

  • What If I Exceed Weight Limit of Class 3 Hitch
Exceeding the weight rating of the vehicle or hitch could cause engine damage, transmission damage, hitch failure and the hitch could rip out of the frame of the vehicle. The important thing to remember is that the Curt trailer hitch # 13465 is rated for 3,500 pounds. If the vehicle is rated lower you go by the lower rating. You would not want to go beyond the capacity specified in your vehicle owners manual. I cannot recommend using this hitch with an Equalizer hitch since it is not...

  • Does the Curt Hitch # 13465 fit a 2010 Dodge Challenger
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13465 would work well with a Swagman bike rack to carry your mountain bikes and is a fit for your 2010 Dodge Challenger. I am not sure which Swagman bike rack you are considering so I attached a link that has all of the Swagman bike racks we offer. You should note that all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from CURT. For...

  • Can the Erickson Big Bed Load Extender be Used with a 2006 Dodge Magnum
Yes, I have recommend load extenders such as # EM07600 for cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs. Sometimes it is just the right tool for the job! Once installed in the hitch the minimum height is 16 inches. If you measure from the top of the receiver opening up 16 inches on your 2006 Dodge Magnum that will be the approximate height of the extender once installed. I have linked a video review of this extender for you. In order to use this extender your Magnum would have to have a Class III trailer...

The best way to determine which ball mount is right for your 2005 Chrysler 300c and your trailer is to take a few simple measurements. Since you don't have the hitch we can see by the video of the Curt # 13465, I've attached, that the hitch receiver is going to be 10-1/4 inches from the ground.
