Pigtail hose connects your RV's propane tank to a 2-stage regulator. Can also be used to hookup an auxiliary tank to a T-fitting inlet such as the Sturgi-Stay so you don't need to break camp to resupply.

Specs:
While this fill hose is typically used in conjunction with a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting (sold separately), it can also be used to connect your dual-cylinder propane setup to the regulator on your RV. It is important to note that this hose does not have a back-check to contain a gas leak. Therefore, when used as part of a dual-cylinder setup, it is not RVIA compliant. A backflow check valve is needed to prevent a major gas leak if one inlet is not connected or has a faulty connection. Both tanks in a dual tank system require check valves. An adapter fitting that includes a back-check (204120-MBS - sold separately) can be used to make your changeover regulator RVIA compliant.

Today, we're going to be looking at the MB Sturgis, Sturgi-Stay propane fill hose that Sturgis used to connect a dual LP cylinder system to a two stage regulator. The POL tank connection allows a higher flow of gas than a type 1 tank connection. A POL connection is great to have when bypass issues arise due to a high demand of LP gas from the RV appliances. On this end is our POL tank connection. On the other end is a quarter inch male inverted flare. The assembly measures 48 inches in length.
Nice thermoplastic construction when it comes to the hose. Nice strong durable design and it's flexible. It's going to have an internal diameter of a quarter of an inch. The hose features a temperature range of negative 40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum pressure rating is 350 psi. Maximum flow capacity is 500,000 BTU per hour.
The unit is UL, ANSI and CSA listed, and it's designed for LP gas only. Please note that the hose assembly does not comply with the RVIA code. If the dual-cylinder system is used incorrectly, than this tank connection does not include a back check to contain the gas leak. Please, just keep that in mind. We want to make you aware of that. That's going to do it for today's look at the MB Sturgis, Sturgi-Stay propane fill hose..
