Can a 2 5/16” ball be purchased and installed instead of using the clam shell?

Hey Jason,

The Weigh Safe Aero Hitch # WS77MR is only available from Weigh Safe with the 2" hitch ball and the clamshell adapter.

For a similar ball mount that uses legit 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls you can use the Weigh Safe Hitch w/ Built-In Scale # WS88VR instead.

We have a plethora of other options as well, so if you'd rather go with something a little more cost-effective just let me know and I'll be more than happy to help you look into it further!
