Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features stainless-steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers. A dual-sided hitch ball with a 1-7/8" and a 2" hitch ball (WS28CR - sold separately) is also available.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with two-ball mount for your two-inch hitch receiver. Now, this 180 Hitch is going to slide into your two-inch hitch receiver, and it's going to give you a 2"-and-2 5/16" stainless steel double-sided tow ball. And this is going to be very easy to switch the tow ball sizes. And this is going to give you, in this orientation about a maximum of about a four-inch drop, Then when you flip this shank over, maximum of about a five-inch rise with incremental adjustments of one inch. And so this is going to give you the height adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle.
Now, when you use the 2 5/16"-inch hitch ball, you're going to get a gross towing weight capacity of 12,500 pounds, with a 2" ball it's 8,000 pounds, and this has a maximum tongue weight of 1500 pounds. This hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. The solid block construction is going to provide greater strength than many hollow steel options that are out there, but this is going to maintain its light weight, it's also going to be rust proof, and this clean finish is going to stand the test of time, so even though it's lightweight, this is going to be very durable and hold up really well for you. As I mentioned, the hitch balls are stainless steel, so they're corrosion resistant, this is going to be great to use around water, such as like your boat trailer or something like that. Now, this does feature a dual-pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very simple.
So let me give you a brief demonstration of that, I'm gonna remove this rubber cover that's included to protect the lock core from dust and debris. So I'm gonna take one of the keys here and insert this into the lock, give that a turn, and then that's going to allow me the ability to remove the dual-pin slider here. While I have this out, I wanted to mention that the pins and housing are aluminum, and the lock here is plated steel, so this is also going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. And so that's going to allow me to easily slide this up and down so I can changes this from a 2" ball to a 2 5/16" pitch ball with no problem whatsoever. So I'm gonna go ahead now and just line my holes back up here, I'm gonna come around here so I can see what I'm doing.
Obviously this is all gonna work a lot easier when you have this inserted into your trailer hitch receiver. So lemme turn this back around, just like that, you do wanna make sure that you have this in the right orientation, so as you can see, it's gonna kind of point to that direction. So I have that inserted in, everything is secured, and then I'm gonna go ahead and replace my cover just like that. So you're not gonna be struggling at the back of your truck to adjust the ball size or to adjust the height, it's gonna be very easy, very smooth operation. And then, as I hope you saw as well, this does include a locking hitch pin, so this is going to allow you to keep your mount securely attached to your trailer hitch receiver.
So again, this is gonna be very easy to use. Now what I like about this lock is, I'm gonna go ahead and lock the head back up and remove the key, and I can still lock this even without the key, which is a nice touch. So I'm gonna go ahead and replace this, and then just replace the head there, and as you've heard, that locked into place. So I don't need the key inserted into the lock to lock this back up, so that's gonna make this all the more easier to lock this up into your trailer hitch receiver. Now as I mentioned, everything is key to like, you are gonna get four keys, and you'll just need one of those keys to unlock the hitch lock and our dual-pin slider, so the four keys in total. And just to give you some measurements, just to kind of give you an idea of the size here, I took some measurements before our time together, and so what I came up with is, measuring from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of our ball, it's gonna be about eight and a half inches, moving down to the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, it's gonna be nine and five-eighths inches, and then measuring from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one and seven-eighths inches. This is V5 certified and J684 certified. And I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Super happy with the hitch..highly recommend. Half the weight of a steel hitch. We are working
This isn't the cheapest hitch on the market, but it is certainly high quality. The carrier slides as it should as does the ball. The locks for the receiver and the carrier are keyed the same and they give you 4 keys. I personally like the double pinned carrier instead of a single pin as some of the others do. I have only had it a week but, I'm impressed so far.
