Axle Wall Thickness of Dexter Axle part # 7461121
Published 07/09/2019 >
Question:
I know the overall thickness is 3inches but what is the thickness of the axle walls for lack of better terminology. Also my spring seats are not 80 inches are these already welded on or can I weld them on.

Expert Reply:
The wall thickness of the tubing of the Dexter Axle part # 7461121 you referenced is .16 inch. This axle comes with the spring seats welded on at 80 inches but you could move them to match what your trailer needs.
