  I went out and measured the distance between where the legs of the tow bar attach on the Roadmaster Base Plate to Tow Ready Tow Bar Adapter, # RM-025, and the on center measurement is 31 inches. The distance between the mounting bolt holes that attach to the vehicle base plates is 28-1/2 inches on center. If you are looking for the overall length it is approximately 34 inches.

  That's interesting that they recommended the # RM-025 which only is listed as a fit for the Tracker tow bar. Since you have a Falcon tow bar already what you would need is a Roadmaster base plate kit that fits your 2007 Chevy Cobalt like the # 523137-1. If the tow bar you have does not have a crossbar that comes with it you'd also need the # 910021-00.

  You will need an adapter to attach your Reese tow bar to the Roadmaster base plates. The adapter is # RM-025. But check the specs on your Reese tow bar because I believe it is the same as # 63180. And if that is the case then it is only rated for 45 miles per hour. I would consider using a different tow bar that is a direct fit to the base plates and does not have a 45 mile per hour speed restriction such as the Falcon 2 # RM-520, or even the Tracker # RM-020.
