Which Tow Bar Base Plates For Roadmaster Sterling On 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2

What is the best base plate for a 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2. Im looking at getting a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar.

The base plate I recommend is the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519319 which my contact at Demco confirmed will fit your 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar # RM-576 you were interested in will fit the Demco # DM9519319 and will not require an adapter.

To complete your flat tow setup you will need wiring, and a supplemental brake system.

I recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152 since the Roadmaster Sterling # RM-576 includes a 7-way to 6-way cord and 6-way vehicle connector which will work great on your Colorado and I included the video of this kit being installed on a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado.

For a supplemental brake system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Proportional Braking System # BLU37TR with the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332. This kit will offer an easy install and offers a simple install compared to other systems.

Before flat towing I recommend checking your vehicle's owners manual for the specific steps to get your vehicle ready.
