Will this fit my 2021 Chevy Colorado Z71? Will I need a battery disconnect kit of some kind?

The Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # DM9519319 will fit your 2021 Chevy Colorado as long as it doesn't have adaptive cruise control. If you do have adaptive cruise control I recommend the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM57VR.

The Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012 you linked to will work with the # DM9519319.

You will also need tow bar wiring and a braking system. I have the following recommendations for your below:

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154. This wiring will tie into your vehicle's tail lights and use them to signal instead of having to run magnetic lights every time you want to tow your vehicle.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional Item # HM39524. This system comes with a battery charger to keep your vehicle's battery charged while towing.

You will need to disconnect your negative cable from the battery to flat tow your vehicle. The Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System Item # RM-766 is a one time setup if you want to be able to use a switch instead manually disconnecting the negative cable.
