When the snow piles up or the road turns slick, the grooved square links on these pewag chains cut in deep to keep you moving. Their ladder pattern digs in on forward drive to help you climb icy grades or push through heavy snow without slipping. This setup gives your wide-base tires the traction they need when things get serious.
Getting chains snug on your tires doesn’t have to be a chore. These chains use assisted cam tensioning—just twist the cams to pull them tight and centered around the tire. A quick check after rolling forward keeps everything secure. Add rubber adjusters (sold separately) if you want an even firmer hold.

You can flip these chains over when one side wears down, doubling their usable life. The nickel manganese alloy steel stands up to corrosion and tough use, while case hardening adds even more strength and resistance to wear. These chains are built to handle harsh winter driving again and again.
Designed for super-single, dual, and wide-base-rim tires from 20" to 24-1/2", this set brings a rugged build for demanding winter use. Each chain’s solid construction holds up under load and provides dependable traction for work trucks, plow rigs, or anyone who needs reliable bite when conditions turn extreme.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag Square Link Snow Tire Chains, with cam tensioners. So these chains are going to be designed for some of those more wide and thick tires that you may have, and it is going to give you an extremely aggressive grip. So it is kind of like a ladder patterned-style with these square links. They're going to wear evenly, and they're all made of the same material, which is a manganese nickel alloy steel.
So it's going to resist against that rust and corrosion and all of that salt that's on the road when there's snow. Also, it does have some cam tensioners. They're really, really easy to do and it just makes it very easy to install, because we all know if you're putting these on, you're either stuck or in some cold situations. So making it really easy to put these on is definitely a plus for me.So these square links are going to be about 5.6 mm in width. So it's going to be pretty big.
And with this cross chain pattern as well, it's going to give you about 32% more traction, compared to some of the other ones in this market. So these aren't the most aggressive chains that we get for these tires. We do have some V-Bar ones that are going to be a lot more aggressive. They're going to have more like daggers sticking out. They're going to grip a lot better, but they're going to wear a little bit more. Also, there's some twist links that we have.
It's not going to be as aggressive as our square links here, but they're going to ride a little bit smoother as well. But all of these are going to come in a pack of two. So if you have four wheel drive applications or all wheel drive, just go ahead and use our fit guide on our website, and just type in your tire size and just grab two pair.We do also recommend just grabbing one of these rubber tensioners. It does not come with your kit, but we do sell them here at etrailer.com, so it's the one stop shop.Well everyone, that's just about it for our look at the Pewag Square Link Snow Tire Chains, with cam tensioners.

These chains on my Jeep Rubicon are fantastic. I am a volunteer firefighter and EMT in the mountains of Colorado. I need to get to emergency incidents in the worst of weather. These chains make that possible.
