Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Maxtracks MK2 Recovery Boards in the black color for a quantity of two boards. Now, these are recovery boards which will provide a nice traction when your tires are bogged down in snow, sand, or mud. They offer rows of traction teeth on top here that provide a surface that your tires are able to grip into and pull your vehicle out of a messy situation. And what helps is, on the bottom, they have these lugs on the bottom surface that'll bite into the ground to give you a surefooted grip.
Dimensions on these, on each recovery board, the length, 45 inches long. The width on it is 13 inches wide. And the height of the board from the bottom to the top of the teeth is about two and five eights inches tall. Now, the weight per board is about seven and a half pounds. Now, I did want to zoom in to talk about a few features on it.
It is a fiber reinforced construction, makes these boards lightweight and strong. And it is a UV stable material so it won't fade or degrade in the sun, but it is light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle, but it's still heavy enough to bear the full weight of your vehicle without braking. Also, what's nice is if I flip it over to the underside on the ends, you can see on each end, you might be able to see, it says "shovel," and there's an arrow pointing to this. Basically, you can use the ends, either end of the board, as a shovel if you need to remove some extra dirt, or mud, or something. Now, they do have these built in.
You can see these glove-friendly handles that'll let you easily pull the boards out of the sludge after use. And they do also include these leashes here. These leashes can also be attached to the boards to help remove them. Now, they do have these key holes. If you look, there's two here.
On the other end, there's two also. Those key holes will allow you to mount to your vehicle by using the Maxtracks Mounting Pins or the Rear Wheel Harness, which we do sell separately on our website. But you can actually see, I'm gonna zoom out here. You can see that when you put these together, they stack on top of each other just like that. Makes it very compact. So then when you go to store them, you can just store them right like that, using the mounting pins if you need. These are a black color. They are also available in many other colors. And this is for a quantity of two boards with the leashes included. But that should do it for the review on the Maxtracks MK2 Recovery Boards in the black color.
