Jake: Hey guys. This is Jake here at etrailer. Today's we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart small cargo hook for an E-track. Now, this is a great accessory for your E-track in your trailer. If you have E-track on your walls, you can hang any of your cargo on it, and it removes very easily so that it's not in the way.As you can see here, you can use it in a variety of different applications. Right here, we have an air hose, an extension cord, and a safety harness.
Now, the nicest thing I like about it that you can separate all of your different items, and then in the case of our safety harness here, your safety harness isn't going to be getting tangled if you just throw it in the back seat of your truck or on the floor. You can hang it up so that you know it's just ready to put on for next time. Our hooks are going to be zinc-coated steel, and they're going to have a weight capacity of 200 pounds. So you can see our single hook here is fully loaded with our hose and our cord here, and you're going to be far from that weight limit of 200 pounds, so you can rest assured you're most likely never going to overload this hook. The nice thing about these hooks that if you're constantly using your trailer for other uses, you just simply remove your equipment, store it in your garage or in your vehicle, take the hook off, and you can store this pretty much anywhere. So let's give you a couple of dimensions here so you know what you're getting. From the E-track to the outermost point is going to be about 3-1/4", so that's how far it's going to stick out off your wall. The inside usable space is going to be about 2".Now these hooks are sold individually, but you can pick up as many hooks as you need to organize any of your equipment to get it up off the floor or out of your vehicle.
Now you can also use it to hold those elongated loads that you may not want sitting on the floor, such as lumber, PVC piping or metal conduit. Now, you might be saying to yourself, "Jake, I don't have an E-track system in my trailer already, and I really don't feel like installing a full E-track rail." Well, that's when a single E-track bracket comes into play. You can place this wherever you'd like in your trailer or in your truck bed and you just simply place that wherever you want, and then when it comes time to remove it, you just simply remove your hook and you still have that nice flush mount design. We do have these available at etrailer.com.So if you're looking for a great way to get organized and have a tool that is very, very versatile, these hooks are going to do a great job. That's going to do it for our look at the CargoSmart cargo hook.
