Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Storage Hook for E-track. Part Number EM59142. This Erickson J-hook simply hooks into your E-track anchor point and lets you hang your cargo inside your trailer. One would be perfect for hanging straps, an extension cord, or even a hard hat. When using two or more it would be great for ladders, elongated tools, and other accessories. The inner dimensions of our J-style hook is going to measure 2 inches and 3 1/2 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. And that's going complete our look at the Erickson Storage Hook for E-track. Part number EM59142.

Excellent product! Just what I was looking for, quick turnaround too. The hooks placed well into the E Track and hold a variety of tow / carry straps in our race trailer - no complaints here!

Pretty solidly. A little more floppy side to side on the play, but nothing major.

I'm a High School Band Director who uses a trailer to get instruments from performance venue to school and back. My previous trailer didn't have any E-track hardware and I just did the best we could. There was always a great deal of shifting of equipment during transport. Now that my current trailer has E-track hardware, I can secure all of my equipment easily and quickly reorganize the entire trailer according to the job's requirements. If you've not got E-track, get it. It's more than worth it's cost in saving of time and convenience.

Bought replacement truck in MOORE, OK and ordered hitch and accessories via iPhone in route back to Chicago. Order was there one day after returning and installed the following weekend.
Hitch fit and looks like the OEM option and helpful video made the install a snap... did it in my driveway.
Good price, fast shipping and wide selection makes etrailer a great value.
p.s. I ordered the etrack system for the interior and made cargo containment a pleasure to deal with!

Still working out great. Lets me hang objects that would otherwise have been on the floor.

The track is good. I have not gotten to use it much since I put it in a trailer that is used for sound engineering and the coronavirus pretty well squashed all the business. But I like it and I'm happy with the product.

It looks to be well built. We have only put one in the trailer so far but looks good and is functioning properly.

As with most e-track products, this hook works well and does what it supposed to. I believe it could be improved however if the manufacturer offered a hook with a spring latch so items couldn't accidently fall off while the trailer goes over a bumpy road or something. If there is a product out there, I haven't seen it.

The pull down lever would also be better if it were wider, like thumb width; would be easier on the fingers. Otherwise, great product.

  • Availability Of 20' Long Horizontal E-Track Rails
    I do have an option for you, but there is not an E-Track that is one piece and is 20' long. Instead I recommend using four of the 5' long etrailer Horizontal E-Track - Galvanized Steel - 2,000 lbs # e45VR. This will give you the 20' E-Track you are needing for your trailer. E-Tracks are compatible with quite a few accessories like a J-hook # EM59142, Tie-down # E59143, or tool holder # ETVH. I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

  • Can a Scissor Jack be Mounted/Stored Using E-Track
    Ram Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24 is meant to be permanently attached to the bottom of a trailer or RV and used for stabilization purposes and not lifting. As such there isn't a storage mount for it. For a portable jack that is rated for lifting I recommend a bottle jack such as # ALL620471. There isn't a specific E-Track mount to hold the jack but something such as storage hook # EM59142 could be used or strap it down with an E-Track strap such as # EM59151.

    There are no E-Track fittings made specifically to support a shelf in a horizontal track such as # E19148 but Erickson and Brophy do offer track-mount storage hooks that you might adapt to this application. The various storage hook items are parts # EM59142 and # EM59141 in black, and parts # ETJS and # ETJR in galvanized finish.
