Hey guys it's Jake here at trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the CargoSmart Swiveling Ladder Hook for e-track and x-track.Now what's really nice about this ladder hook is that it is wide enough to fit a wide variety of ladders. Let's go ahead and take our ladder off and show you a little bit more about the hook.As you can see the hook does stick out quite a bit when it's not in use so in order to store it CargoSmart made a design to where you can lift up on the hook and turn it to the side to fold it against the wall. But the nice thing about e-track accessories, if this still isn't out of the way far enough for you you can simply just pull that tab and remove it.When rotating this hook if you find that you have an obstruction or anything on either side of the hook it does have included notches so that you can actually turn the hook to whichever side suits your needs best. Now the hook is going to have a steel construction with a zinc plated coating on it. Let's go ahead and take a few measurements so you know how big this hook actually is. So from the outside edge of our e-track here to the outer most point it's going to be about 8.5" to the furthest point.
From the inside of our bracket here to the widest point of our mouth it's going to be about 7". Now ,when folded in you can see we cut down a lot of that space, it's only about 1.5" off that outer most point of our rail so that's quite a bit less space to worry about. You're going to be able to use these hooks for whatever kind of storage you need whether it be in your house, at work, or in your trailer like we have here. Right here we have an extension cord with a leaf blower on it and then what I found really nice about it is if you do a lot of off-roading it's a really good helmet holder. It's going to be able to fit over the front part of your helmet without making any contact with your goggles, it just depends on what kind of helmet you have, but this opening should be more than wide enough to be able to hold these. You don't have to worry about storing them in your vehicle or in your trailer just rolling around somewhere. So the one hook by itself is going to have a weight capacity of 200 pounds, but if you plan to use these hooks to haul ladders I do recommend picking up a second one to be able to hold at the front and the rear.
With that being said that's going to do it for our look at the CargoSmart Ladder Hook for e-track.(silence).
