Quick Fist Tie Down Straps - QF10010

  • Tie Down Clamp
  • Quick Fist
  • Trailer
  • 0 - 175 lbs

Durable rubber, jaw-style clamps with adjustable straps help you store and transport shovels, axes, Hi-Lift jacks, and more. They mount horizontally or vertically to your vehicle, trailer, garage wall, or any flat surface. 50 lbs WLL per pair.

Features:

  • Works great on emergency vehicles, work trucks, off-road vehicles, military vehicles, ATVs, and boats
  • Quick and easy installation
    • Mounts with one #10 bolt or screw (sold separately)
  • Heavy-duty transportation-grade rubber
    • Unaffected by climate
    • UV-resistant
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Holds objects 1" to 2.25" (25 mm to 57 mm) in diameter
  • Each clamp supports a safe working load of 25 lbs (11 k)
  • Mounting area: 2-1/2" x 3/4" (64 mm x 19 mm)
  • Quantity: 2 clamps
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Note: Quick Fist clamps are not to be used on exhaust pipes or any pipe that consistently exceeds a temperature of 180 F (82 C).

A new Quick Fist clamp fresh out of the mold can be stiff. Use two hands to open the jaws vertically and then pull each jaw once or twice. Close the jaws and open and close the strap a couple of times. It's now ready for mounting.

For applications where the Quick Fist clamp will be used at or near its maximum opening dimension, the clamp will not work in your hand, as it must be bolted to a fixed surface for the rubber to stretch properly.

Installation

Illustration showing Quick Fist mounting

1. Use #10 bolt or screw to fasten. Do not over-tighten.

2. Mount with the strap facing in any direction.

3. To clamp: put the tool or implement into the jaws. With both of your thumbs on the strap, push strap to reach the desired tightness. Repeat as necessary.

4. For certain applications, like roof racks with round tubing, you can install the Quick Fist clamps using hose clamps. Make sure you center the hose clamp on the plastic washer to avoid cutting into the rubber clamp.

5. For smaller diameter objects, push jaw without strap inside the other jaw and tighten strap on top of jaw.

Installation of High Lift Jacks

Illustration showing installation of high lift jack

You may also install your high lift jack using three Quick Fist clamps spaced evenly along the steel bar of the jack.

1. Drill out a hole in the Quick Fist clamp with a 7/16" (12 mm) bit. Use a 2-1/2" (65 mm) long, 3/8" (10 mm) bolt to attach the clamp.

2. To mount the jack, hold it parallel to the three clamps. Put one end of the jack into a Quick Fist clamp, with the bolt through the steel bar, and then loosely lock the clamp. Next, place the steel bar into the other two clamps and lock. After all three clamps are holding the jack, tighten as necessary.

I installed these clamps to hang an axe in my converted utility trailer and they are perfect. Work as expected. Only reason I didn’t give then 5 stars is because they didn’t come with bolts or screws.

Perfect solution for what I needed. Couldn't find anything close to this anywhere else online including Amazon. Using this to hold my folding dock ladder in place when it is out of the water. Good Quality. Thick, Flexible and strong.

I made a rack for the ATV to hold my axe and shovel, the clamps seem to work pretty good so far. They are kinda hard to open and close in cold weather, (below 25 F.) They claim to be good for 1" diameter, but they don't clamp as well as I would like, so I am going to get a bigger diameter handle to get a better grip. Overall I like them so far.

Comments
Ive had these on for over a year now, and they still work great! Been on sub-zero weather and over 90 degree weather and keep working and performing great!

After searching the web for weeks, I was ecstatic to find these hooks! I'm sure I'm not using them for the purpose intended, but they look great holding my axe on the wall. My only gripe is that there is only one way to secure it to the wall. I'm sure at dead center is the optimal spot for mounting, but perhaps consider adding so diagonal screw holes on either side, that's where I ended up putting my screws in. Other than that the product easily exceeded expectations!

Thanks for taking the time to check-in. The product is still working as it should, and I am still as grateful as ever that I was able to find it on your site. Should I ever need another one, I know where to go. Thank you for the quality product and for the excellent customer service

Used these Quick Fists to mount same hand tools to the ROPS on my tractor. Works great

Works great. Used them to attach a long aluminum pole to a swinging gate. Previous arrangement allowed pole to dislodge, fall to the ground - and a couple times sustain damage when crushed by a heavy truck. The pole has remained in-place since installing the Quick Fist Clamps. Very happy - clamps perform as advertised.

They work great! I use them on a snowmobile to carry a shovel and they couldn’t work any better

- QF10010

The application of the Quick Fist Original Clamps did not work as I originally planned. I will need to add spacers between the clamps and rack to allow more room for the shovel to fit securely. I think once I fashion the spacers to extend the clamps they will work just fine.

I bought these to replace broken brackets on an old set of workout weights. They are working great but I probably should have tried to find some with a little smaller diameter. These want to slip a little because the pipe they I use them on is right at 1" size.

Nice product! I mounted 2sets of these inside my truck bed to hold a couple of axes. Works great. The axes have stayed secure and clamps stay tight. Highly recommend.

- QF10010

The perfect item to organize my gear in the inside MOLLE racks of my truck bed. Once attached to the rack, they won’t go anywhere; no more flying shovels, axes and jacks.

These little things work great! I use them to keep shovels and jacks secured in the bed of the pickup.

These things work great. I keep a shovel on here for quick jobs on the trail. After a year of pulling the shovel on and off, these things are still holding up. Highly reccomended.

Purchased this item and received it within 3 days. Works exactly as advertised. Installed easily in bed of truck and holds a shovel for recover. Product made of sturdy rubber. Liked enough to purchase a second set to hold an ax.

Love the quick clamps. I bought a set of stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts and drilled a hole through the rollbar and fixed the clamp directly to the bar. Easy as can be. One additional note though, if you're mounting something that is 1" diameter, this clamp will hold it, but not as tightly as I would have liked. To solve this, I just added a couple wraps of electrical tape to the place the clamp will secure (in my case, it was a shovel). Served two functions, one makes sure I put the shovel back in the clamps at the same height every time, and second made the shovel handle a nice tight fit in the clamp.

Comments
Clamps are still working great. Weather hasnt fazed them and they still hold tight. Shovel doesnt move at all going down the highway or while rock crawling. My stainless steel mounting hardware solution is still working great as well.
