Durable rubber, jaw-style clamps with adjustable straps help you store and transport shovels, axes, high lift jacks, and more. They mount horizontally or vertically to your vehicle, trailer, garage wall, or any flat surface. 50 lbs WLL per pair.
Features:
Specs:
Note: Quick Fist clamps are not to be used on exhaust pipes or any pipe that consistently exceeds a temperature of 180 F (82 C).
A new Quick Fist clamp fresh out of the mold can be stiff. Use two hands to open the jaws vertically and then pull each jaw once or twice. Close the jaws and open and close the strap a couple of times. It's now ready for mounting.
For applications where the Quick Fist clamp will be used at or near its maximum opening dimension, the clamp will not work in your hand, as it must be bolted to a fixed surface for the rubber to stretch properly.
Mount your shovels, axes, D-cell flashlights, and high lift jacks with the Quick Fist original clamp.
1. Use #10 bolt or screw to fasten. Do not over-tighten.
2. Mount with the strap facing in any direction.
3. To clamp: put the tool or implement into the jaws. With both of your thumbs on the strap, push strap to reach the desired tightness. Repeat as necessary.
4. For certain applications, like roof racks with round tubing, you can install the Quick Fist clamps using hose clamps. Make sure you center the hose clamp on the plastic washer to avoid cutting into the rubber clamp.
5. For smaller diameter objects, push jaw without strap inside the other jaw and tighten strap on top of jaw.
You may also install your high lift jack using three Quick Fist clamps spaced evenly along the steel bar of the jack.
1. Drill out a hole in the Quick Fist clamp with a 7/16" (12 mm) bit. Use a 2-1/2" (65 mm) long, 3/8" (10 mm) bolt to attach the clamp.
2. To mount the jack, hold it parallel to the three clamps. Put one end of the jack into a Quick Fist clamp, with the bolt through the steel bar, and then loosely lock the clamp. Next, place the steel bar into the other two clamps and lock. After all three clamps are holding the jack, tighten as necessary.
It was easy to order and I received it right away.
They are not the greatest wuality
Totally satisfied with product and deli very
Works flawlessly after 1 year in an outdoor environment.
This works well. It’s just what I need for my shovel and axe on my TuffStuff rack on my Tacoma.
Great product so far (yet to put to use). Also probably the best customer service I've ever received!
Description was accurate and shipping was fast.
Fast and correct! Definitely recommend!
The best seller can trust that your order is right and onetime. the best
I love these clamps. They hold fast to the roof rack and don't spin. I use them to hold my AX and Shovel on my off road camper. They can be a little difficult to mount by your self but I cannot question the design because they do exactly what I want. I have traveled to Texas, West Virginia, North Caroline, Georgia and Florida without giving my tools a second thought.
Great selection of quality products at reasonable prices with very fast shipping.
The product itself is perfect for what I needed and I will end up purchasing the appropriate attachments for the high-lift jack in the future. It is nice that the box actually indicates not only the installation instructions, but also the part number you need for that application. Downside, and reason for only 4 and not 5 stars probably isn't the fault of eTrailer, but when I ordered it, it stated I would (and still shows it) receive it in 3 days. I was planning on having this on my Jeep in preparation for an upcoming snow storm. Unfortunately, it was delivered WAY past the expected delivery date. Oh well, I will have it for the next time.
Just what I needed. But I still think shipping is slow. Good product
After searching the web for weeks, I was ecstatic to find these hooks! I'm sure I'm not using them for the purpose intended, but they look great holding my axe on the wall. My only gripe is that there is only one way to secure it to the wall. I'm sure at dead center is the optimal spot for mounting, but perhaps consider adding so diagonal screw holes on either side, that's where I ended up putting my screws in. Other than that the product easily exceeded expectations!
