1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Purchased this as a spare tire rim for the boat trailer. Original rim I picked was in back order. etrailer people were very good in working with me to find a reasonable substitute. Very courteous and helpful. I have ordered other products from etrailer and I can say I have never had a "bad customer service" experience. More retailers and on-line stores need to take lessons from them.

Etrailer carries a complete line of parts for my trailer. My boat had a different size spare and I wanted to match the Shorelandr trailer wheels. The company carries a line of Dexstar wheels called Directional. I ordered the wheel and it was a perfect match. I mounted 5 new tires on my boat trailer and everything is good. Thank you, Etrailer.
These are excellent trailer wheels that are being used with Goodyear endurance tires. They fixed a problem I had with aluminum wheels
ETrailer communicated thoroughly throughout the purchase, offered alternative suggestions for backorder items, provided accurate delivery timeliness, and delivered when promised (actually it came early). Excellent service.
The wheel was not in stock, but it was ordered the same day as my order. It was to arrive for shipment to me in about a week. It was a day late and George at etrailer sent me an e-mail letting me know the status, and then another e-mail letting me know it shipped. The communication was excellent, the website easy to use. Still awesome. I really appreciate your service and products.
Decided to update my old rims on boat trailer and found these being the closest match. Double the price of a competitor but Etrailer has been great in the past and these were made in the US (literally mins down the road). As soon as I took them out of the box I put them right back in. One of the welds is unfinished and has a sharp edge on bead. Mounting tire might be alright but why risk $150 goodyears, and why spend $80 for something that looks like something I could get at walmart. Was interested in getting an exchange but I have to return this and buy another one. OK, no big deal as Ive never returned anything from Etrailer. The wheels fell off when Etrailer is charging me to send it back, and then will be charging me to ship a new one. From their sales rep, "we cannnot control manufacutrer quality". Repeat customer for 10 years (2 boats) and I will not be buying from a company ever again that nickle and dimes their customers. You should eat the freight cost like a normal company since you want to send out sub par products. Terrible business model.
