When you’re putting in long hours on the road, this assembly is designed to handle it. The Kenda Loadstar 205/65-10 bias tire carries up to 1,650 lbs at 90 psi and is rated for 87 mph (speed rating N). It’s been rigorously tested to exceed Department of Transportation standards, so you get serious hauling strength backed by proven highway performance.
The 10" diameter x 6" wide aluminum wheel keeps weight down while staying tough. Its split-spoke design is rustproof and finished in a clear coat on both sides to resist scratches and scuffs. Steel inserts in the lug nut wells keep the wheel tight on the hub and prevent wear around the holes, so it stays secure through years of use.
The wheel’s 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, and 0 offset make matching up to your hub straightforward. Bolt size is 1/2"-20, giving a snug, consistent fit that helps the assembly stay balanced mile after mile.
The bias-ply build delivers strong sidewalls that stand up to heavy loads and rough pavement without flexing or overheating. And with Kenda’s 1-year worry-free guarantee on the tire plus a 2-year warranty on the wheel, you can tow knowing you’ve got dependable protection built right in.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Loadstar 205/65 by 10 bias tire in a load range E, and it's mounted on this 10-inch black aluminum wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for trailers. The tire on this is a Kenda Loadstar tire, offers excellent handling. It is a bias construction, so it provides superior stability. And if you look at the tread design, it is a modern tread design, reduces rolling resistance for a nice smooth ride.
Now this bias tire's great for off-road and agricultural use and it provides a smooth ride, improved handling, when you're trailering on uneven surfaces. Now the tire size, which is stamped on the sidewall, 205/65-10. Now that's the new metric size. Some of the older tires in the size would have the size of 20.5 by eight by 10, and they do list that smaller right under the new metric size. So it'll fit the older size also by using this size.
Section width on this is 8.4 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 20.5 inches. This tire as mentioned is a load range E, which means it's a 10-ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 1,650 pounds at 90 PSI. And it does have a speed rating on it.
They do stamp it on the sidewall by a letter designation, and where you'll find that is right after the tire size we went over. You'll see it stamped. There's a load index. And then there's a letter N. Speed rating N will mean this has an 87 mile per hour speed rating.
The wheel on this is a black aluminum, AMO two series wheel. As you can see the machine face and lip, it is durable, lightweight and rustproof. Also uses a clear coat finish on the front and even on the back of the wheel to protect it from scuffs and scratches. Now one of the nice features I like on this wheel is the steel inserts that they put in the lug nut wells. Basically they're pressed into the lug nut wells. Helps keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. So when you put this on your hub, put your lug nuts on, torque 'em down, what those inserts do is it prevents the holes from wearing down over time, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of the lug nuts. Now this tire wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications. A few specs on the wheel. The diameter on the wheel is 10 inches. Lift on just the wheel, six inches wide. Bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on the wheel, that's an odd number of lugs. In this case, five. What you do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and you're gonna measure across from this hole to either one of these holes, but when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure to. On this, it'll measure four and a half inches. So this means it's a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. It does have wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. And also the pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center, the diameter on that is 3.19 inches. So if you notice it does not come with the center cap. If you do want a center cap, make sure to get one that'll have the same diameter as the pilot hole, the 3.19 inches. And the weight capacity on just the wheel is 1,500 pounds. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Kenda Loadstar 205/65 by 10 bias tire in a load range E, on this 10-inch black aluminum wheel.

Easy swap from OEM galvanized wheels. Extra points for this wheel being designed so it sits properly in place once slid on the lugs. No need to keep pushing it back while tightening each nut down.
I love the look of my new boat rims and tires. I needed new tires but not necessarily the rim but I wanted to help make it look sharp so I thought why not.
