Bias Tires vs. Radial Tires
Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Beveled Stud Holes
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Excellent tires and excellent service! As this is an odd size tire and wheel, I was concerned that I might get something that had been on the shelf for years. Not the case, these tires were built in 2022! My trailer is 25 years old, but these heavy duty tires are perfect and freshly built. I just hope my pontoon boat will last as long as these tires will. Fits Our Bass Tracker Pontoon Trailer. Had trouble finding which lug pattern was correct and we needed a 5 on 5 1/2. Most come as a standard 4 anc load C. We needed an E. You guys had it all and shipped free and correctly the 1st time! Thank you!

Your service and delivery was great. Unfortunately I made a mistake. The whole pattern for my trailer is smaller than the ones that came with the rims. I can probably have the tires removed from the rims and placed on the ones currently on the trailer. I am looking into that.

I was very satisfied with the tire and wheel. I was informed that the 205/65-10 was the replacement original size for the 20.5x8.5x10.0. That was GREAT! I had been informed by others that I would not be able to get a replacement for a spare and I would have to replace the hubs and axels. Thanks for all your help and timely delivery.

Needed A replacement tire and wheel for my Tracker Pontoon trailer and could not find anything remotely close to what I needed. I did a search on Google and found etrailer's web site. I did a search on their web page without any trouble and found exactly what I needed. Even specified on description that it was a replacement for Tracker Pontoon trailer. Ordered tire and wheel on Saturday with 3day shipping. Got an E Mail on Sunday that order had been filled and sent to shipper. I received my order on Wednesday. Could not ask for any better service from a merchant than I received from etrailer. Owner followed up with information on order letting me know what was happening. Tracking was easy. I will definetly order from etrailer again when I need anything for my trailer or any application that they provide.

I want forget etrailer! I developed a leak in my pontoon over the summer. I eventually had to drill a couple of holes to drain out the water which meant I would have to transport the boat to an experienced Welder to fill in the holes I drilled and repair the leak. I discovered that my 21 yr old tires were not up to a long trip for the repair. So first I went to my local tire shops. They were useless so I then began an online search looking for a rim/ tire combo that was basically obsolete. I was almost ready to give up when I came across etrailer. They had exactly what I needed being a rim that was 5 On 5-1/2 lug pattern on a 205/65-10 tire with Load range E which is the metric equivalent of my old tire 20.5 x 8.0-10. They saved my life. I received my tire and rim. As always with Etrailer it was shipped fast and arrived just fine. HOWEVER, when I reached in the box to pull it out there was a burr on the rim and it cut the crap out of me.
The burr was in the axle /bearing hole. I ground it off.

Great Wheel and Tire assembly to replace older split rim wheels. For the cost, you get a high quality assembly that will make your future happy when you can get it serviced. Split Rim tire maintenance is getting to be a real challenge due to the risk involved. Better to go with a modern replacement like we did.

The tires arrived one day early which was much appreciated! I ordered two tires for my tracker boat trailer which required 10-in rims and a tire that was 205 x 65 x10 load range E. These tires were not available anywhere locally including Menards harbor freight tracker boats Northern hydraulics or tractor supply. The good news is that e-trailer had the tires and rims in stock and I had them delivered within 2 days and at a price that was very competitive. I have ordered from etrailer in the past and always been very satisfied with the product and the timeliness of the shipments! Would not hesitate to order trailer hitch tires lights etc in the future, thanks!!
