Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

The tire isn't flat to the road surface, but looks like doughnut, which results in smaller contact area. Plus mine dead less than in a year, but because of damaged torsion axle. So, cant fully blame tire here, but the old wheels worked fine with the same broken axle. So, you get what you pay for.

I thought the axle would come with the hubs on the spindles all packed with grease, installed and bearings set properly.

Excellent wheels, great to see a USA made product. In fact, this was a major factor in the decision. I would have loved if the tires were made in USA as well, but a bias ply should still hold up for my trailering needs (not long distance) and would be a bit cheaper than the USA made tires. Direct bolt on after measurement, great price. I did have to adjust the pressure in one tire, but that is fine. Thank you

Used these tires on our log splitter. It doesnt get a lot of distance but we do sometimes pull it down the road at moderate speeds. So far after a year all is well! Would buy again.
What can I say considering that this was bought as a replacement spare for my popup camper after I updgraded the running gear from 13” to 14”. Overall I’m very pleased with etrailer’s pricing, delivery, customer service. You might pay a little more here, might. But you get what you pay for, and more. Highly recommend!

I purchased a 14 inch Tire for my Trailer mounted on a White Rim with a Lug nut pattern of 5 on 4.5 pattern. I bought the Tire on Tuesday June 6 and it arrived exactly as I wanted and UPS dropped it off today (Friday). The best Price out there.

Really like the tires & wheels. Shipping was quick. Only complaint was wished they were balanced. Your company should consider that, for a couple bucks more would be a perfect deal.
