Wheel and Tire Recommendation for Bias Ply 205/75R14

Updated 04/17/2018 | Published 04/16/2018

Question:

Hello! Im having trouble figuring out the load weight for new trailer tires and rims. The current tires are Goodyear ST205 75r14 and its a 1999 Trail Lite trailer with an empty weight of 4131 pounds. Im looking for tires and rims that can be used off road as will since we will be traveling to the desert and on dirt roads at times. We are pulling it with an 2002 dodge dakota and with sway bars. Any recommendations on tires would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!! =

None of our tires are really designed for off-road applications like you will need so we may not have any ideal solutions. Everything we have is for on-road use only. We have bias ply wheel and tires in the size you need of 205/75-14 like the Kenda part # AM3S455 which are commonly used for agricultural applications.

This has a weight capacity of 1,760 lbs at 50 psi.
