Features to know about

Effortless Grease Maintenance: Integrated Grease Zerk

This feature allows you to easily grease the moving parts directly, ensuring they function at their best, and reduces the need for frequent maintenance.

Built to Last: Durable Grade 5 Bolt

When you're expecting reliability and durability, the Grade 5 bolt in this assembly steps up to deliver. Specifically designed to secure equalizers to the hanger, it's made to handle heavy-duty tasks for an old truck restoration, making it an ideal choice for those undertaking projects with historical or functional significance.

Perfect Fit Every Time: 3-1/2" Length and 3/4" Diameter

Fitment issues can be a major hassle with suspension systems. Fortunately, this wet equalizer bolt comes in a common size with a 3-1/2 inch length and a 3/4 inch diameter, making it compatible with most tandem- or triple-axle trailer suspension systems. This ensures that swapping out old parts with this new bolt is straightforward and stress-free.

Safety and security are key when it comes to suspension components. This bolt assembly includes a locking castle nut and cotter pin, which work together to ensure that the bolt stays securely in place, preventing any movement or dislocation from rough terrain or weather.

Embrace the Past with Precision: Replicas of Original 1980’s Parts

For enthusiasts restoring older vehicles or trailers, finding parts that match the originals can be challenging. This product is crafted to be an exact match to suspension components from the 1980s, making it perfect for authentic, precise restoration projects.

Peace of Mind for the Long Haul: Built for Rough Conditions

Designed to withstand harsh environments and rugged terrain, this bolt endures significant wear and tear without compromising integrity. Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Castle Nut, Grease Zerk and Cotter Pin

Today we're going to take a look at the 3 1/2" long Wet Equalizer Bolt with the Grease Zerk fitting, and the Castle Nut and Cotter Pin for double eye springs. Now this bolt will secure your equalizer to the center hanger of your tandem of triple axle trailer suspension system. The grease zerk fitting on this end allows for easy lubrication to keep any moving parts functioning properly. The zerk fitting right here will allow you to grease the inside of the bushing. Basically when you hook your grease can of to that and pump grease in it, it will come out of this hole. Again, it will lubricate the inside of the bushing.

Now, it does include the castle nut and the cotter pin, which is to lock the bolt in place on to the hanger. Few specs on this, the bolt is a grade 5 bolt. The overall length which would be measured from the bottom of the head to the very end is going to be right at 3 1/2". The bolt size is a 3/4" diameter, 16 threads per inch. The bolt head size and the nut size is going to be the same, it is 1 1/8". Screw that on and I can show you, here's a 1 1/8" socket.

Fits the head, and it fits the nut. That should do it for the review of the 3 1/2" long Wet Equalizer Bolt with the Grease Zerk fitting, and the Castle Nut, Cotter Pin for double eye springs.

  • 12" Equalizer Kit for Trailer Leaf Springs
Hey Lucas, thanks for reaching out! We have the Equalizer for 2" Wide Slipper Springs # TREQ4541 that looks to match the description you're needing, but this doesn't come in a full-fledged kit because it's from a different manufacturer. To get the rest of the bolts you'll need the following: - Wet Equalizer Bolt with Castle Nut, Grease Zerk and Cotter Pin # 126A1 (qty 2) - Spring Eye Bolt # 166079 - Keeper Bolt and Locknut # 7-7-6-11 Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Determining Correct Replacement Leaf Spring For Trailer W/ 3000lb Axles and 27" Long Springs
The # SP-210275 you were looking at is for a 3500lb axle and is 27" long measured from center of spring eye to center of spring eye. This is the correct spring for your trailer based on the measurements you provided. The next shortest spring would be 2" shorter which would be much too short. For replacement equalizers we have the # TREQR89 which is 8" long and has a center hole of 9/16", or the # TREQR83 which is 9" long and has a 3/4" center hole. For replacement hardware you can use...

  • Replacement Dexter Equalizers for 2-1/2
I do have an option for you but we do not carry the exact replacement you are looking for. For your trailer, I recommend using the Dexter Equalizers part # 13-140-3. These equalizers are almost an exact replacement for the ones you currently have. All of the dimensions will be the same except for the bolt hole diameter that attaches the rear leaf spring to the equalizers. The bolt you have that attaches the rear leaf spring to the equalizers on your trailer is a 7/8" diameter bolt and the...

  • Recommended Leaf Springs for Vintage Trailer
The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 27" Long # SP-210275 will work with your vintage trailer. It looks from the photo like you would also need the Replacement U-Bolt with Nuts for 2" Wide, Square Trailer Axles - 9/16" Diameter # 175211 and the U-Bolt Plate - 2" Wide, Square Trailer Axle - 1-3/4" Wide Spring - 9/16" Bolts # TRTP200175. You will need to reuse your shackle straps, but you can use the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk for Double-Eye Springs...

  • Recommended Wet Bolts With Screw-In Zerk Grease Fittings
We offer 2 wet bolts that may work for you because they have screw-in Zerk fittings. The first wet bolt I recommend is part # 34007-187-00. This is a step wet bolt designed to work with 1-3/4 inch double eye leaf springs. The overall length of this bolt is 3-7/16 inches and the usable length is 3 inches. This is a 9/16 inch diameter bolt. These are sold individually so you would need to enter the quantity you need when ordering. The other wet bolt I recommend is part # 126A1. This bolt...

To use with the Dexter Equalizer for 2-1/2" Wide Slipper Springs # 13-141-3 I recommend using the 1" diameter Suspension Bolt # 7-136-2-6-112 for the center/hanger bolt and the 3/4" diameter # 126A1 for the spring bolt. Both options are wet bolts with integrated grease zerks to allow for easy maintenance.

  • Availability of a Trailer Suspension Equalizer Kit With 6-1/4 Inch Long Equalizers
We don't offer a equalizer kit that incorporates the # TREQ458 you're needing, but you can obtain the necessary parts separately. We offer a 3/4 inch wet equalizer bolt as part # 126A1. 9/16 bushings with a OD of 11/16 is part # TRBU11566. If you need an OD of 7/8, use part # TRBU11568. You can see the shackle links and bolts we have available by clicking the provided link.

You can get the parts in hanger kit # APT1 separately but not as a kit minus the hangers. The equalizer is # TREQR83. For shackle straps you will need 8 of # 115052. For shackle bolts and nuts you would need 12 of # 166081. For the 3/4 inch wet bolts, pins, nuts, and grease fittings you would need 2 of # 126A1.

  • Does The Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126B2, Come In Different Lengths
I called the supplier (Redline) and they said the only wet bolt they offer in a 9/16 inch diameter is the Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126B2. The length of this bolt, not including the head of the bolt or the threads is 2-5/16 inches. The only other wet bolt we offer is the Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126A1, which is a 3-1/2 inches length with a 3/4 inches diameter.

  • Should Nylon Bushings on TruRyde Straight Equalizer Be Greased
Applying some grease like # L11316 to the nylon bushings on the TruRyde Straight Equalizer # TREQR83 is a good idea during installation, as it will both allow the shackle bolts to insert with greater ease and will provide good lubrication for the whole assembly. After the initial install it's recommended to lubricate the equalizers about once every 3 months or 3,000 miles. You can pair the equalizer with some wet bolts like the 3-1/2 inch # 126A1 and a grease gun # L30416 to further simplify...

  • Usable Length of Trailer Suspension Wet Bolt # 126A1
The length figure for the wet bolt part # 126A1 is measured from the below the head to end of the threaded section. So that does not include the hex head. I'd recommend measuring the usable length you need from your bolt. Most likely this will work for you though as this is a very common size for trailer suspension.

  • Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes, Leaf Springs, Bearings, Hardware, & Brake Lines for Dexter 7K Axles
Since the ProLube kit # XLPROLUBE2440KIT is only rated for use on 5,200 to 6,000 pound axles I do not recommend using it for 7,000 pound axles. Grease would be better for marine applications since a hub full of grease repels water and an oil bath hub could just let the water set on top. The correct grease seal for disc brake kit # K2HR712D is # RG06-070. It does have an inner diameter of 2.25 inches and the outer diameter at 3.376 inches will fit the hub in the disc brake kit. • What Is Bolt Length Measurement On The Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126B2 And Are Bushings Needed
On the Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126B2, the length of 3 inches is not including the head. The overall length is 3-5/16 inches including the head. It is a 9/16 inches diameter bolt. I have the Redline Wet Equalizer Bolt, # 126A1, which has a length of 3-1/2 inches not including the head, but it is a 3/4 inch diameter bolt. Yes, the bushings on the equalizers are needed. • Additional Suspension Parts to Add an Axle to a Tandem Axle Trailer
The first thing I need to tell you is that mobile home axles are designed for one-time use only by the manufacturers. Because of this replacement parts are nearly impossible to find. I would urge you to switch to regular axles so replacement parts are readily available. I have linked the axles we carry for you. The main problem you might run into when adding another axle is wheel scrubbing. When making turns its likely that the front axle tires will drag on the ground. Also to maintain...

  • What Should the Bolt Diameter be on the Center Hanger to Use with the Curved Equalizer # TREQE34
If by "perch" you mean center hanger, then you would want the center hole to have a 3/4" diameter like what you find on the hanger part # 115919. This will allow you to use the Shackle Bolt # TRFA73Z916DLNZ or Wet Equalizer Bolt # 126A1 with the Curved Equalizer # TREQE34 and keep the movement at a minimum.

  • Can Wet Equalizer Bolts be Used if Splines are Worn Smooth
The splines on a shackle bolt are meant to help keep the bolt from rotating. Since the bolts are tightened with the nut it isn't too big of a deal if the bolt rotates some. The bolts that you took a picture of look like the nut is further secured in place with a cotter pin to keep the nut from coming loose. With this system it would take a lot of time and rough terrain and weather to cause everything to come apart. With that being said, your wet bolts do look like they have seen better...
