Add a low profile, permanent charging point to your vehicle without leaving loose leads under the hood. This OptiMate MagCode 12V port mounts to a panel and connects directly to your battery for quick magnetic charging access.
Traditional plug connections can be awkward to line up and may spark if connected the wrong way. This MagCode port uses a magnetic interface that helps guide the connection into place, giving you a quicker, easier way to hook up your charger.
This port mounts directly to a panel and connects to your battery with 5/16" (M8) or 3/8" (M10) ring terminals. That gives you a fixed charging point without leaving loose leads under the hood. Pair it with the SAE to Rosenberger MagCode clip adapter, part number MA29YV, to complete the magnetic charging setup.
An integrated 15-amp fuse helps protect wiring and electronics, while the sealing cap covers the port when it is not in use. The 40" lead gives you flexibility when choosing a mounting location.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at the OptiMate Rosenberger MagCode port to battery adapter. So folks, if you want a clean professional way to connect that battery charger or maintainer, this is a great option for you. The OptiMate Rosenberger MagCode port to battery. This is a panel mount connection.
It's 12 volt, and as you can see, you got the two magnets there in the middle. This will made up with another MagCode system sold separately that you would then pop on here and then the magnets will take over and automatically make that connection. It's safe, it's secure, and if it does get loose for whatever reason it's built in. There's no sparks, it simply disconnects itself. It's not gonna damage wire, short circuit or anything like that.
They even give you the battery terminal connections and inline fuse and the hardware for installation. And of course you get a nice rubber cap here to keep dust, dirt, and debris out when it's not in use. Now you would install this directly to the battery using the ring terminals and then on a flat surface. And this is gonna give you a great connection again instead of those connectors where you have to use two hands to connect 'em. So this is great if you're in a tight area, it's low profile, it's clean, it's neat.
