When you’re hauling serious weight, a balanced suspension keeps everything tracking true. This kit’s 18-3/8" long left- and right-hand equalizers link your tandem axles for even load transfer between them. Designed for 10,000- to 15,000-lb heavy-duty Dexter axles, they keep the ride smooth and stable so each axle does its share of the work.
A solid center hanger is what keeps the whole system aligned. The included pair of 4-1/8" tall hangers with 1-1/8" bolt holes mount the equalizers securely to the trailer frame. Their geometry is built for correct spacing—42-1/4" between axles—so the suspension cycles smoothly under load.
This kit comes with properly matched hardware: 6" long x 1-1/8" diameter equalizer bolts with locknuts, plus spring-eye and keeper bolts in 1" and 1/2" diameters. Each piece fits tightly and stays secure once torqued down, keeping the equalizers moving freely but without play. It’s all laid out so you have what you need for a dependable connection from frame to spring.
Pair this kit with Dexter’s HAP-103-00 front and rear hanger kit to complete a matched tandem-axle suspension system. The dimensions—35-1/10" between front and center hangers, 42-1/4" between axles, and 34-2/3" between center and rear hangers—are engineered to line up perfectly for smooth travel and consistent ride height.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter Tandem Axle Trailer Equalizer kit for 3-inch wide slipper springs. Now this kit here is gonna include two 18-3/8-inch long equalizers and all the necessary hardware and the two center hangers for suspending your leaf springs from your trailer frame. Now what I would recommend to do is on the product page of this part number, the very middle of the page, you'll see a table with a bunch of dimensions on it. Use that table to determine where the hangers will be located. Now this is designed for use with tandems 10,000 pound to 15,000 pound heavy-duty Dexter axles.
It does not include components from mounting the axle to the springs. Now we also recommend if you use this with the part number HAP-103-00 that we sell separately. It'll give you a complete tandem axle kit. And that part number, the HAP-103-00 part will contain the front and rear hangers and mounting hardware. This is gonna allow you to attach four slipper springs to your trailer frame.
It includes the two, right here, 18-3/8-inch long straight equalizers, both one right, one left. It's gonna allow for a 42-1/4-inch distance between the axles. Just run to zoom in a little closer. Right here, this center hole, it's a 1-1/8-inch diameter center hole for mounting your center hanger to this. Over here we have a 1-inch diameter hole for the spring eye to attach to, and down here a 1/2-inch diameter side hole for attaching to the spring.
Also includes, as we mentioned, these tall center hangers. These are 4-1/8-inch tall center hangers. Bolt goes right in there. Comes with the two 6-inch long 1-1/8-inch diameter equalizer bolts with the lock nuts. It also comes with, right over here, two 5-1/2-inch long, 1-inch diameter spring eye bolts with lock nuts for attaching the spring eye over on this end.
And then over right here we have two 1/2-inch diameter, 4-1/2-inch long by 1/2-inch diameter spring keeper bolts with block nuts for attaching the spring down here. And as we mentioned, does not include the components for mounting the axle to the springs. It comes with a nice set of instructions. Now we do also offer many other items for your towing adventures. Just as needed
This particular part was the most perfect part for my application and it works like a million bucks!!!!
Didn’t not work with my cam super line trailer. Bolts were not the right diameter for the front of the spring, the wet bolt isn’t stated to have a locking square sink on it so it doesn’t sit flush. Rear small bolt worked just fine, ubolt plates didn’t fit the bottom of my springs even tho they were stated to be for my size spring of 2”. I would triple check everything on your trailer before ordering. Will be returning my second set I bought to do my other trailer as well and be souring parts elsewhere.
Easy to order online or by phone and glad it got to my address in less time that I expected!!! I had my doubts that it might be a fraudulent website, but I was so wrong!! Thanks etrailer and hope to continue buying from u more parts in the future!!

This is exactly what I needed. After seeing the new ones, I realized how badly the old ones were worn. They fit perfectly, and arrived very quickly. These along with new springs, made the trailer pull like new again. I am going to order more for another trailer.
