Today, we're gonna take a look at the Dexter tandem axle trailer hanger kit for 3" slipper springs on 10000 pound to 15000 pound heavy duty dexter axles. Now this kit will allow you to attach four leaf springs for tandem axles to your trailer frame. Leaf springs we do sell separately on our website and basically also on this product page if you go to the table on the bottom of the product page it will also show you how to determine the hanger location for your trailer.Now this kit is designed for use on trailers with tandem 10000 pound to 15000 pound heavy duty Dexter axles. Now it does not include the components for mounting the axles to the springs. This part will include everything here on the table. I'm gonna go through all the pieces here.
Basically we will start with the front hangers here. These front hangers, they're a 6-1/4" tall front hanger with 1" bolt holes. Comes with two of the 5-1/2" long by 1" diameter spring-eye bolts with the locknuts. And when we call this a 6-1/4" tall front hanger, basically we're measuring from the center of the bolt to the top. So there's your 6-1/4 measurement.
Now we'll move on to the middle here. The two 4-1/8" tall center hangers with the 1-1/8" bolt holes comes with two of the 6" long 1-1/8" diameter equalizer bolts with the locknuts.So again the measurement, it's a 4-1/8" tall. So it's center to the top. There's your 4-1/8" measurement. And again it comes with the bolts and the locknuts.
And then the equalizers themselves, there's a 18-3/8" long left hand equalizer and an 18-3/8" long right hand equalizer. If you measure the length of it, there's your 18-3/8". Now these equalizers will allow for 42-1/4" between the axles. There's two a those. It also comes with two 4-1/2" long 1/2" diameter spring keeper bolts with the locknuts for that equalizer.
And it also comes with two 5-1/2" long 1" diameter spring-eye bolts with the locknuts.And then we'll move onto the rear hangers. The rear hangers right here, they are 7-11/16 tall rear hangers. And again if we measure that, there's your bolt right down there. We go up, there's 7-11/16 dimension and it comes with the 4-1/2" long 1/2" diameter spring keeper bolts with locknuts. Now this also includes a nice set of detailed instructions. It'll describe how this installs and all the measurements.
