Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Dexter front hanger for three inch wide slipper springs. This front hanger provides the attachment point for the leaf spring, and suspends the spring from the trailer frame. It is a weld on installation. The holes here at the top are for spot welds to hold it in place. Again, it's made from a durable steel construction. It is designed for trailers with 10,000 pound and 12,000 pound dexter axles. If we take an internal measurement of the opening here, just the width measurement, you can see that that measures about three inches wide.
So, again it is designed to fit three inch wide slipper springs. And it works with a one inch diameter bolt, which is sold separately. Edge to edge this direction, you can see that it measures five inches. And then from bottom to top, measures around 7-1/2 inches tall. That's going to do it for today's look at the Dexter front hangar for three inch wide slipper springs.
