They seem to look like they’re good quality but I’m not installing these on the trailer on Hill Spring

We have a new micro-camper trailer, out of the factory weighing 600 pounds. I added 600 pounds of equipment, still well below the limits of the 2000 axle and 1000 pound (each) 3-leaf springs. However, after a little towing on rough highways, the springs were deforming and bottoming out on the frame. I swapped them out with these 4-leaf 1400 pound springs. Now all is good!

Hey Jennifer, it's completely normal for leaf springs to flatten out when the weight of the trailer is on them. They're designed to flex under load to absorb shocks and support the weight, that’s how they do their job. As long as they're not completely flat or sagging without a load, you're good. Please let me know if they are completely flat or if it makes you feel better you can send me some photos!
