Older incandescent lights wear out fast and pull more power than they should. This 2-1/2" round LED clearance or side marker light uses 3 white LEDs under a red lens to give you bright, clean light with a low draw of just 0.06 amps at 12.8V. The solid-state LEDs last up to 50 times longer than bulbs and don’t have fragile filaments to break. Moisture ruins most trailer lights over time, but this one’s built to handle it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that’s fully submersible. Whether it’s rain, road spray, or a launch ramp dunk, water can’t get in to corrode the circuit board or diodes. It keeps shining bright and clear even after repeated exposure to wet conditions.
Vibration and impact are hard on lights, especially when you’re hauling over uneven ground. The Optronics design uses durable surface-mount technology (SMT) on the LED circuit board to better resist shock and heat buildup. Wiring doesn’t have to be complicated. This light uses an industry-standard PL-2 connection that accepts a simple 2-prong plug for power and ground (sold separately). The plug also seals the unused terminal against dirt and moisture. It mounts recessed with a grommet (sold separately), sitting flush and protected while giving your trailer a clean, finished look.

Of the three of these lights that I ordered, two showed up in plastic bags and intact, one was not in a wrapper and was broken. It was obvious that whoever packaged it either didn’t notice or didn’t care.

I purchased $XX worth of led lights 6 marker lights and 2 ovals. The marker light had a protective wrapper and showed up pristine condition, however both ovals were thrown in the box with no protective wrapper the clear oval has a scratch but is still in good condition the red oval has scratches all over it to the point it looks used. Pretty Sad. Wish I could off included photos but it was hard to see the scratches In the picture my camera isn't the greatest.

Good lights, work well and easy to install. Would give 4 stars but one of them arrived with a chipped housing. Hoping it will be okay because it's behind the grommet so shouldn't see much water.
