Question:

Hi, I have a 7 pin on my boat trailer and my truck. I wanted to hook up a back up or reverse light on my boat trailer. Could you show me instruction on how to wire and what I need to make it work. Also do I need a relay for the light wiring. Thanks

So in order to add a reverse light to your boat trailer, all you need to do is connect the wiring from your junction box or 7-way directly to the reverse light's wires. For reverse lights, if you don't already have wiring at the junction box or your 7-way, what you can do is add 14 Gauge Primary Wire - Blue - per Foot # DW02414-1.

Then you will simply run that wire to the reverse lights, which you can connect with butt connectors. The exact parts you will need to do this are the following:
