The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
This light has an industry-standard PL-2 connection as pictured above. The light accepts a 2-prong plug (A45CB or A49PB - both sold separately). The plug connects to 2 of the points on the PL-2 connection for power and ground. And the plug covers the unused third point on the connection to seal it against dirt and moisture.
Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a housing or a grommet (A70GB) sold separately. These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

Nice bright light. Used to backlight the skeeter cutout on my boat trailer.
I replaced my internal horse trailer lights with these LED’s. They are brighter than the original lights and of course, use less battery.
I was disappointed in the posting of the progress of my order and the lack of time it took to start processing it but in the end, I did receive in on the day I expected it and
the product was exactly as it was presented in the online description. I used it for incandescent lights in my daughter's horse trailer and they were an exact fit for the mountings in the trailer. My daughter and grandson said "WOW, that is bright" which is what they wanted. Thanks
Found the products I needed to replace my horse trailer's back-up & tail lights. Placed the order easily and received them quickly. Was able to remove the old ones and install the new ones in minutes and now we have turn signals, brakes, tail & back-up lights again -- all working! Will definitely use this site again should we need any other parts.
I purchased a pair a pair of white grommet mounted LED lights that I installed in my blasting cabinet. The are bright and add the necessary additional light. They are powered by an, old but good, 12V battery that is hooked to a battery maintainer.
Fit perfect, works great, prompt shipping, no problems. Thanks for having what I needed. Back up light for boat trailer helps a lot when launching your boat in the dark.
