Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement left hand uni Servo wheel cylinder for 10 inch and 12 inch brake assemblies. This will replace the hydraulic wheel cylinder on the left hand side of the 10 inch and 12 inch brake assemblies that are manufactured by Dexter, Bendix, Dico, Demco, and Atwood. This wheel cylinder is for the left hand configuration, so the driver's side. It is a uni Servo, which means it's a single plunger design, and it does have a nice sink plating to it to help resist corrosion. This part is made in the USA. That should do it for the replacement left hand uni Servo wheel cylinder for 10 inch and 12 inch brake assemblies..

A wheel cylinder is a wheel cylinder, this review is about the company that sold me the wheel cylinder. I had trouble finding a replacement locally and just happened upon etrailer via google. I'm always apprehensive when doing business with a company online, especially ones that I've never dealt with before. Let me tell you, I worried a lot about nothing. My transaction with etrailer.com was outstanding. The part look up, ordering process, shipping time and communications were all 100%+ I highly recommend this merchant. In fact off to buy some more parts from them right now :)
These are exact oem replacements. I called the manufacturer of my tow dolly to order the parts and was told they do not stock these parts. I contacted etrailer and within minutes had both right and left parts on the way. Above and beyond for the customer.
Had a hard time finding part numbers for these brake cylinders. Shorelandr was little help but ETrailer verified what I thought I needed and in fact they installed fine.

Wow. Well I sold the boat and trailer this spring, however, all I can say is the brake cylinders were exact replacement parts and work fine.Thank you.
The brakes were "supposed" to be in working order when I bought the trailer, but I found that both wheel cylinders were rusted and frozen. These new wheel cylinders were an exact fit for my Venture boat trailer, which made for a nice easy installation!! I added a bit of thread anti-seize to the threads of the bolts, brake line, and bleeder threads to ensure that corrosion doesn't make them impossible to loosen.
(Suggestion: When buying a used boat trailer, bring a floor jack and test the brakes before you buy!!)
Wheel cylinder was an exact fit, I received it in two days. Could not ask for better service.

worked as it should last year. No problems
Our mechanical staff decided to replace the wheel cylinders rather than the complete assemblies. The cylinders are nice quality at least as good as OEM. They arrived well packed and a day before expected. The staff at etrailer.com were great from start to finish. George J was helpful with the placement of the order and letting me know through emails on the progress of the order. When it comes to getting invoices for our finance department, one call to Preston M. and I have then in my email before I even hang up the phone! It is an absolute pleasure doing business with etrailer.com, so many businesses I do business with throughout the day don't have their level of customer service anymore!
both the replacement wheel cylinders and the brake actuator fit perfectly and function very well, just like new.
Thought part would be cast iron like the old one. Not sure what material it's made of. No instructions on recommended torque for brake line nut and bleeder. It matches old one and does fit into backing plate. Will see what happens
I have actually installed one side of the brakes, and the wheel cylinder fit perfect. The hose was a perfect match also. Thanks for providing a great product at a better than the national auto chain prices with shipping included!

I would recomend offering new bolts along with these for sale.
i forgot the old ones in very rusty cond. I have yet to install so need to .ocal source new bolts and could have saved time if ordering from you.
