What is the Correct Replacement Wheel Cylinder for Dexter Hydraulic Brakes

What uni servo replacement part fits on a Dexter Surge assembly.The only numbers i see on the drum our 8-147 and 8 CFD .There on a model 217 Winnebago Travel trailer .The drum looks to be 11inch wide. Thanks..

The correct replacement wheel cylinder for your hydraulic trailer brake assemblies is determined by the brand and size of brake assembly that is on your trailer. The Titan Uni-Servo Wheel Cylinder, item # T0977700, that you referenced will fit Titan brake assemblies with 10, 12 and 13 inch diameter hydraulic brakes. The wheel cylinder will not have a part number on it.
Your Dexter brake assemblies are most likely either 10 or 12 inch diameter hydraulic brakes. You can verify this by measuring the inside diameter of your drum. I have attached a photo showing where to measure. If you have 10 or 12 inch Dexter brakes, then you will want the Redline Wheel Cylinder, item # BP17-030 (left) and # BP17-020 (right), as replacement wheel cylinders.
If you feel that you may need to replace other parts in the near future, then you may want to look into replacing the entire brake assembly. A replacement brake assembly is typically cheaper than purchasing all replacement parts individually and this way you have all new parts, eliminating the possibility of other parts going bad in the near future. The bolt pattern of your existing backing plate, axle capacity and brake diameter and width will be needed to determine the correct brake assembly.
