Can etrailer Trailer Transition Plate Be Installed on an Open Utility Trailer

Question:

Would this be appropriate for an open landscape utility trailer, to transition from the fold down ramp to the ground? It has a 2-inch lip that is hard to clear for smaller wheeled equipment. If not this ramp, then is there a better option? Thank you!

The etrailer Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate # e32JR can be used on an open landscape utility trailer, just be sure to use the appropriate mounting hardware for steel since that's what you'll be installing this into. We recommend through-bolting the plate for your application which will require additional hardware but will give you much more of a solid installation.
